  Ultimate place to relax

  An amazing 5 days in this beautiful spot. Delicious food, an excellent wine list and wonderful service. The ultimate place to relax from sitting on the jetty with excellent coffee/tea or glass of wine watching the world go by, to laying by the pool or soaking in the hot tub. As well as lovely short bush walks to enjoy the natural surroundings. Our large chalet was really lovely, well appointed, great amenities, stunning views from all the rooms and I particularly loved the availability of loose-leaf tea. A huge thank you to all the staff who were extremely friendly, helpful and put the finishing touches on a wonderful experience. A definite must visit. We will be returning.

  Beautiful Marlborough Sounds

  A very special and beautiful place to celebrate any occasion. We were made to feel very welcome and special by the whole team who are all exceptional. We had a great walk from the resort up to the Queen Charlotte track which included a bit of bush bashing. From there we were able to make our way onto Punga Cove for a cold beer and back to the resort by water taxi. The kayaking was another highlight and we visited some of the nearby bays which are also beautiful. We loved our luxurious unit with views from our private deck and bedroom windows to die for. Big fluffy towels- loose leaf tea and coffee beans were all appreciated at the end of our days adventures. Thank you to everyone of you that made our stay so lovely.

  Wonderful Resort

  We stayed at this piece of paradise for 3 nights. The service was fantastic and we were well looked after by a super friendly crew. Room was great with a dreamy view over the bay. Restaurant food top notch, recommend doing the 7 course degustation with wines to match. Walked to the lookout was physical but worth it for the great view. Did the E-ko tour which I highly recommend. Sad to leave!

  A Jewell in the Crown

  I was fortunate enough to enjoy three days at this very special piece of paradise. A warm welcome from Graeme the Manager and I was whisked off to my chalet up the hill. Amazing views and extremely well appointed accommodation surrounded by native bush. I was introduced to other guests over drinks before dinner which being a solo traveller was much appreciated. The food was excellent and there was a great range of wines. Steve the cat is a big personality and is much in demand by guests and one can hear plantive calls for him when he is not relaxing in one of the deck chairs. One can be totally lazy or wander the tracks in the bush up the hill. I did a little of both. I also went out one evening on Katabatic a lovely boat owned by Chef Grant Orchard. This was the icing on the cake. Grant cooked the fish caught in different ways supplemented by his home made bread etc. Bliss. So, if you are looking to escape the world and be totally spoilt, this is the place to go.

  A true retreat in paradise - just world class

  A wonderful place to relax and enjoy our wonderful country. Everyone made you feel so welcome and ensured that every detail was sorted. Beautiful scenery and wildlife as well - not to mention some great walks nearby too! We will definitely be back.
