Un lugar paradisiaco con un gran staff
Nos alojamos unos días a finales de julio de 2019. El lugar tiene una buena relación calidad-precio. Nos alojamos en bungalow (a unos metros de la playa). Buena higiene, excelente servicio de atención (nos ayudaron a imprimir los billetes de avión) . Su propietaria siempre está pendiente de que tengas una buena experiencia, y los trabajadores son muy eficientes. En el restaurante se come muy bien a un precio adecuado. La playa está limpia. La piscina excelente, tranquila y muy limpia. Lo recomiendo. Atienden en inglés sin problema.

Disappointing
We had booked and prepaid a 8 nights stay in a deluxe bungalow from Bangkok a couple of days prior our arrival. As we entered the place, it was clear that they didnt expect us: we have no booking for today, said the owner, rushed in after being called on the phone by a kind member of the staff who (as practically all the others) didnt speak a word of English. I showed her our voucher and suddenly she pretended to remember...but the room wasnt ready and, after having shown us two bungalows, she put us in one that wasnt (also according to the pictures on their website) the category we had paid for. As I pointed that out the next morning, the owner tried to make me believe I was wrong...I insisted (a lot!) and at the end she accepted to move us in a different bungalow (with a better bathroom, different forniture and a single bed for our 2 years old daughter - the first proposal was to make her sleep on the day bed; which had a plastic cover...-). The place in general would really do some maintenance and a deep clean (a lot of garbage lays on the loans, under the bungalows, along the streets and on the beach); the rooms are cleaned and towels are changed daily. The bathroom is always a bit smelly, partly because (as in all Thailand) used toilet paper has to be thrown in the garbage bin but also because the shower drains directly on the ground. Breakfast is quite poor and got increasingly poorer as we stayed: on our last day we got three slices of banana e three pieces of watermelon as fruit salad... People from the staff dont seem to be treated kindly and the owner is a bit messy. The plus side is that the beach is the only one on the bay with a direct access to the sea at every time.

You can't beat location
A special thanks to Apple the owner/manager we had previously stayed here a few times but it had been deteriorating quickly and we didn't know what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised to find Apple who had taken over since we were last here has fixed most or the issues from last time, the beds were comfortable, new airconditioning, and the pool was lovely and clean, This place has the best location on the beach by a country mile, with free beach lounges at a very affordable price , my wife has mobility issues but it is 50 metre to the beach and similar to the main street with many good restaurants, we found Apple very sincere and couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our holiday!. This is one of the reasons we will be back next September

Best time Ever
We have been staying at Bay Beach Resort for 15 years. A special thanks to Apple the owner/manager who took over shortly before last years stay. Apple has made so many positive changes that I can honestly say that this years 18 days were the best. The rooms now have Hairdryers, Tea/Coffee making, new Airconditioners. The pool which was unswimmable for the previous two years is now sparkling clean. The beach only 50 meters away is also fantastic as well as the local restaurants and bars all also within 50 meters. This is not 5 star hotel so don't expect it. The pricing is perfect for what you get but the experience and service is 6 Star.

Excellent stay
What an amazing stay. Stayed in bungalow 3 right next to the beach, definitely worth the upgrade. Very clean room. Best thing about our stay was the owner named Apple, she was so helpful and friendly and simply couldn't have done more to make our stay such a memorable one. Will definitely be staying again.
