  Very peaceful

  We stayed for 2 nights in the Rosella Cottage. Very clean with much attention to detail. Very comfortable and large bed, with lovely linen & towels. Home made bread and also some great homemade muffins. These were such so fluffy and light! Not far from the Riesling Trail and all in all a wonderful spot.

  Time to Unwind and Relax

  We stayed at the Battunga Bed & Breakfast in June 2017. We found this hidden treasure a lovely and quiet place to relax and step away from the stress of our busy lives. The beautiful fire place quickly warmed up the winter chill and had us set for a cosy night in. The cottage was well stocked with fresh home cooked bread and muffins and all we needed to cook up a delicious breakfast after being awoken by the delightful sounds of the country. We hiked a little around the property and also enjoyed just peacefully watching and listening to the sheep with their lambs in tow. Having no set agenda we also enjoyed nice relaxing drives around the rest of the district to cap off the perfect weekend getaway

  A refreshing weekend away

  Lovely spot in the midst of the Clare valley region. Close to all wineries and restaurants that we wanted to visit. Very comfortable with quaint country charm. Fresh eggs and sensational bacon supplies for breakfast every morning. New supply of wood for the cosy combustion wood heater in rooms. Nice for our romantic getaway, to rest, eat and reconnect.

  A beautiful place

  We just stayed for 2 nights at Batunga Bed and Breakfast, Watervale whilst visiting the Clare Valley. What a beautiful place, every thing you want. A warm log fire, great breakfast supplied to cook at your leisure. The view divine, peaceful and quiet and close to wineries etc. Definitely recommend these cottages for a break away. Joyleen was wonderful and her daughter also, thanks for a great stay. Will definitely return, Kaylene & Alan :)

  Very friendly owner. Comfortable cottage

  The cottage we stayed in was roomy and comfortable. We loved the loaf of freshly made bread supplied. The small box of chocolates was a surprise and much appreciated. It was great to have rainwater to drink. These cottages are quiet and well off the main highway. They are a short bike ride to the Riesling Trail, first along a gravel road for a short distance and then bitumen. We were there as winter died and spring was about to commence. The days were cool but the nights were bitterly cold. However, we were snug with our lovely warm wood fire at night which was already set up and ready to put a match to when we arrived. The only downside is that the parking to the cottages is a distance from the cottage (except the front one) and you have to carry all your luggage to your cottage.
