  Amazing holiday during Covid times.

  We have recently returned from two weeks at this lovely hotel. We arrived the day the UK Government decided that Turkey was now on the quarantine list but decided that was not going to ruin our holiday. It did mean that from the point we arrived, no further UK guests were arriving, so day by day as guests went home, the hotel was getting quieter and quieter. So for the first few days, everything was normal. The pool and beach areas were fairly busy for October, but you could still manage to get a sun bed without having the bun fight at dawn that often occurs. Firstly, the staff at the hotel make it what it is. They are so friendly, always smiling and very helpful with great service. So simple, but so many hotels do not have the high calibre of staff that this one does. Special mentions go out to Fezeil who manages the breakfast team, with Ahmet, our amazing waiter and Ebru, the omelette queen. She just makes the best omelette I've ever had at any hotel and needs a special thankyou for starting my day the best way possible. Yummy. We did manage to eat in all the restaurants and the BBQ, not necessarily in the order we had planned, but due to limited guests, we ate at whatever restaurant was open. The food was lovely, always hot and so perfectly presented. Again, the staff were superb. Especially Yaman in the Turkish restaurant who was so good and very professional. On the beach, we were looked after by Omar. He is just great and I have no more words to say. Every hotel needs an Omar on the beach. So hard working, always cleaning and worked such long hours. In the evenings, we spent most nights at the Adult bar managed by Barkin, again another quality member of the team. We even had a daily visit by two hedgehogs which was very pleasant to see. Just a shame, this bar was closed over the final few nights due to just a handful of us guests remaining as the hotel closed for the season the day we left. We had a nice room on the third floor, it was in the family side, which we were initially a little concerned about, but due to the low number of guests, it was so quiet. The hotel grounds also make this hotel very unique in the area. We knew there were nice grounds, but were not expecting them to be so well kept and so vast. Credit to the gardeners who were working so hard in the hot temperatures. The hotel was very clean and extremely covid safe. All staff wore masks and gloves. Served you your food in the buffet after you pointed to what you wanted on your plate. The only shame was that some guests decided not to wear masks around the buffet, despite the signs recommending that they are worn and are even provided when you walk in. I strongly suggest the hotel change their sign from a recommendation to insisting that all guests wear masks and make sure that this rule is followed. After all, whats the point of some guests ignoring it - apart from those that cannot wear masks for medical reasons of course. We also were treated to having a coffee shop on site, which provided lovely lunch time Salmon and Avocado wraps which we had everyday and took to the beach. They served great coffee too. Also at around 4pm daily, fresh baked cakes were made and on Mondays, we especially enjoyed the Apple Strudels. They were lovely. So all in all, a real gem of a hotel, we would certainly return. Was a real surprise how nice it was and we would definitely look to return again when we're next holidaying in Turkey. Why go anywhere else? Hopefully, when we return, Covid will be a distant memory.   excellent hotel

  stayed for two weeks in october ,had a family room which was really spacious for two adults ,very well equiped room ,plenty of toiliteries ,free safe sea facing balcony (all rooms are sea facing) can only add to what others have said about the wonderful staff in this hotel ,every member of staff we encountered were really lovely and very helpful (a small tip goes a long way) nice choice of restaurants ,private beach ,lovely spacious grounds ,good selection of bars ,all wonderfully staffed ,spa treatment was very professional and reasonably priced ,cant wait to return

  Fantastic and Covid Safe

  My other half and I visited this hotel during September of the Covid outbreak. We were a little hesitant to travel due to the pandemic but this resort surpassed our expectations and actually felt safer than being at home. Everything was spotless & cleaned around the clock, temperature checks were taken, towels were sealed in bags etc. I have visited many all inclusive resorts and never truly enjoyed the food but I devoured every single meal at this place. We actually chose to go to the buffet most nights in place of the other restaurants due to the quality of the food. The only potential downside would have been the rooms ( in the family section) as they were slightly dated and a little damp. However, based on the amount of time actually spent in the room it ended up being a none issue. I believe the hotel was open at half capacity to accommodate social distancing which actually makes it an ideal time to visit.

  Amazing COVID Vacation!

  Booked very last minute in August due to our holiday to Cyprus being cancelled literally two weeks in advance, Tui gave us a £500 voucher to rebook and so we upgraded our holiday to a swim-up in the adults only area and it was the best holiday Ive had!! I went to the Arum Barut last year and thought nothing could surpass it but I think the Barut Sorgun did just that. Felt very safe here, temps were checked every breakfast and staff always wore masks without fail. Room 3007 was fantastic. It was spacious, the AC was great (when I figured it out), the mini fridge was always stocked, the terrace was a brill size and it is exactly in line with the sea. The cleaning ladies were lovely and thorough, plus out room got deep cleaned at least once whilst we were there. If I was to go again in a swim up though, Id ask for either 3010 or 3009 as they get the sun for longer. Youll get used to the buffet situation (you have to point to the food you want and a chef serves you) and I was a little disappointed with how small the buffet was in comparison to the Arum but the food was, nevertheless, yummy as hell with different choices every lunch and dinner. The sandwich stand at lunch is a perfect addition every hotel needs. The young lady who ran the adults only seating at breakfasts needs a pay rise, she was outstanding in every way! The enforcement of 16+ areas was a big plus as I love holidays without noisy children, they always enforced it at meals and tried to by the adults pool.

  Great Vacation during Covid

  It was not our first choice, our Caribbean holiday was cancelled a week before flying out. Tui representatives called us and gave us different options, we could travel to either Greece, Turkey or cancel completely. We chose to go with this resort, we paid for corner suite, there is only 8 of them in the resort, they have two balconies and beautiful jacuzzi bath with sea view. - Everything in hotel was well thought and spaced out, all staff were wearing masks and sanitising stations were available in multiple places - Paid restaurants were worth every penny and Italian was on the same level as them, food was amazing every time (we stayed for two weeks and been to each twice). The rest of a'la carte restaurants were okay, the buffet was serving the same thing every day which was definitely boring since we had the same thing served for breakfast for two weeks. - The room was cleaned everyday even if we left the sign on the door which was kind of nice. Unfortunately our drinks were not restocked everyday, at some point we had to go to reception as we didn't get fresh water for 4days in row. - The staff is very friendly and go over and beyond if you ask them for something. - Live shows were hit and miss depending n night and artists involved. - Outside movie theatre and fitness classes were great. The only thing I hated was people who ''booked'' their sun lounges in the adults pool by leaving their towels, there were stickers on the tables beside not to do this but staff wouldn't do anything. There were days when the sun lounges by the pool would be empty all day just because there is towel on it only for people to come around around 4pm. - The drinks were good and not watered down, however we spend over £4500 on two weeks stay and I would like some of premium alcohols to be included. We've been charged £15 for Brugal rum in bar and despite giving instructions on how we want it served the bartender did it his own way and I couldn't drink it since all I could taste was lemon. The spa is absolutely amazing, My husband bought me a 3-day package (it can be used in one day). It had everything from Turkish bath, stone and normal massages and facial treatment. Overall definitely recommend the hotel.
