  Great Villa

  We travelled to Gili T as a family of 6 adults and stayed at the villa for 3 nights. We were met when we arrived by fast boat and transported to the villa by horse and cart. The villa is in a quiet location north of the main area but an easy walk and about 250m inland from the beach. The villa was very spacious with all bedrooms having their own bathrooms and air conditioning. The main living area was also air conditioned. The staff cooked breakfast each morning and we ate near the pool which is shared with the other villa on site. Joanna the manager and the staff organised decorations and balloons for our daughters birthday on the morning we left which was greatly appreciated. Loved our time on Gili T.

  Family.... U Can't Beat IT!!!!!

  Wow..... They really made us feel like it was our home for the 10 days we were there.... My partner + 4 children couldn't believe the beauty and hospitality /// nothing was to much trouble.... It was a surprise for her 50th birthday and I'd asked if they could provide a buffet' which was done to amazing standard + they arranged a cake and candles.... Much more than I was hoping for..... it really made us all SOOOOO Happy, I can't thank all the staff enough!!!! For making us feel Special.....

  Fantastic Villa in a great location

  From start to finish our trip was excellent. The Villa boys met us from the jetty and were so very helpful with everything we needed. The villa is very spacious, clean and elegant and the architecture unique. The pool was fantastic to relax by and great for the kids to play in. Breakfast included was a pleasant surprise and made us feel like royalty. The location is excellent and quiet but so convenient to walk to bars and restaurants or dive centres. Jo is fantastic and alway 'popping round' to check that we needed anything and making us feel so comfortable. A real home atmosphere in a stunning villa would recommend this place wholeheartedly it is a real jewel on a beautiful island.

  A family favorite on Gili T

  This huge, fantastic house is an exceptional place for a family trip to the Gilis. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well appointed fans, ac, safes and full bathrooms in each bedroom, as well as personal patios facing the pool. The main room has super high ceilings and a nice sofa and solid dining table for 6. We used the entertainment center to crank music when we were packing -- an added bonus. Beds super comfy and huge: king size for us and twins for the kids. The ac was super strong in the bedrooms but we didn't even need it in the main room with the strong fans and high ceiling. The pool is great too. A shallow pool for toddlers and a larger pool for the big kids (including me). On our first day, the water was a bit cloudy, but the staff cleaned it later that day and it was clear for the rest of our stay. The showers were good with nice hot water, but if traveling with little kids be wary that the shampoo and body soap are in glass bottles -- they're placed high enough to be out of reach, but you wouldn't want to drop one on the stone floor of the shower. We just took them out of the shower an put them in a cabinet, because our family of clutzes has a bad habit of dropping things. There was usually three local staff on the property while we were there. They cooked our breakfast and helped us find bikes for rent. Nice, helpful guys. TBH, i had my reservations about spending time on Gili Trawangan with kids, but after a few hours at Baruna Villa I changed my mind. Yes, there's a party vibe to the island, but Baruna is removed from that. But still close enough to walk to restaurants and either side (east/west) of the island: My son and I went to shoot pics of both sunrise and sunset from here.
