  Pisimo, un disgusto total. En conclusión un Robo. Las fotos hablan de si mismas. Desayuno de pena, hemos encontrado de todo, desde luego que en halloween no les hace falta ninguna decoración. No se como lo dejan abierto.

  Two day stay

  Virgin experience booked us into The Bartley Lodge using a voucher I had as a special birthday present. Our room on the ground floor was large but designed for elderly or disabled people with alarm cords and handles all over the place which we do not need. Considering there are 40 rooms in the hotel , why give us this room overlooking the car park? The tea/coffee facilities were poor . Fresh milk would have been nice and proper cups not paper!! Evening meal was ok but the dining room was soulless with bare tables no cloths/ candles to create a nice ambience.

  1 night stay with family

  I booked this place as a gift to my sister & her daughter & son visiting from Ireland. This would be the only time this year we would meet as a family. I choose it because of the location being close to Paultons park . After a beautiful day together with our family & children we were disappointed with our stay . On check in everything appeared gorgeous . The rooms were pleasant Clean but Old & needs updating We booked to eat in the restaurant. We were given the worst table ever in a large formal dining room with no other residents in there we were given a table in the Corner of this dining room. Not necessary as the room was empty. The waiter who had been nice to us earlier changed when he saw the children having fun They werent causing mischief they were laughing The waiter shouted at the 2 small children to sit down & be quiet We didnt pass comment on this . We 3 adults ordered steak Totally disappointed dissatisfactory. We had to speak to the manager as 2 many things were disappointing on our evening . All members of my family were upset . We were treated as outcast Next morning at breakfast was a different story . We had the manager. The breakfast chef No need really as they knew how unhappy we were but their treatment to impress us was unnecessary. On check out our bill was confusing I paid the amount due . 2 1/2 months later I got charged again. This just proves total unprofessionalism at its best . I have contacted Paige the hotel manager in person who is not accepting at all my disappointments . For the price I paid I would not recommend this accommodation I would advise not to bring children I will not be booking this accommodation again .

  Worst restaurant we have ever been too

  We came here on Thursday evening for dinner for 3 adults and a child. We booked it as it was close to where we were staying in the new forest. I am still feeling quite mad that we paid what we did for the absolutely horrendous food that we were served. We had the children's garden plate, bread, steak, pork belly and fish and chips. The steak is what stands out as the worst dish of them all. You are paying London prices and it was absolutely appalling. It was brown, chewy and so poorly cooked. The fish and chips were awful, the oil tasted strange and my sons fish and chips were mistaken by my father as chicken as they were so chewy. We paid near £100 for this meal and not only was the food horrendous but the tired and dating living room wasn't set so we felt like we were in a strange and empty wedding reception. Please do not waste your money, this needs a huge revamp and improvement before it should be able to continue to serve.

  Will not visit again

  I had a double room and it was small. I was on my own but would have been very cramp for two. The winow panes were spoilt by old cracked and peeling putty. The washing facilities were very poor. They were split into two on the same wall. In an alcove was the shower, small with stained tiles. Opposite was the toilet very small and when flushed made a hideous noise. Along the same wall in a different alcove was a solitary sink - very uninspiring. The breakfast booking for breakfast was messed up. Instead of nine o clock we were put at ten. When we arrived the last of the visitors were leaving and satt were keen to get us finished. Of course by then items were not available. VERY POOR SERVICE When we checked out my daughter was charged for my room as well as her own . I had paid for mine on arrival It was my daughters birthday weekend and what was hoped to be a light in this terrible was poor Will never repeat this again
