  Way better than a hotel

  This place is so adorable! Loved the Mesquite Farmhouse. Brought my puppies so thats a bonus.Had a full kitchen and 2 bedrooms with big beds. It was very clean and we were asked consistently if we needed anything. Id tell anyone who wants charm this is it!!! They also have their own wine and Clubhouse with music, food and drinks.

  Slice of Heaven

  Hard to describe in words how special this place is. Swiss style cabins scattered along a babbling creek, among 26 acres, in the hill country of Texas; Idyllic! The owners are exceedingly welcoming and attentive. The cabins are warm and cozy with wood burning fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs. Sitting along the creek by day you can enjoy the wildlife; birds, resident ducks, cats, etc and soak up some nature. At night the cabins and grounds are lit with hundreds of tiny white lights that give it a magical feel.

  Another relaxing break in awesome setting

  Our 4th stay at Barons Creekside. This time in a different one of the awesome cabins. Friendly welcoming staff and relaxed feel. Great position for many wine tasting options and Fredericksburg town center... but feels remote and relaxed

  Vacation

  We had a fabulous time. The Victoria cabin was spotless and very comfortable. The grounds are well maintained and though situated a mile or so from the town center it was not an issue. The peacefulness at night and the lack of light pollution allowed for some great star gazing. The Club had great music and food. Limited menu but very good quality and presentation. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Only slight negative was our water heater and AC furnace were noisy at night but then it is a restored historical home so its not meant to be without a few issues. Would definitely make a return visit.

  Perfect getaway, pairs well with wine!

  We booked a getaway at the Rhine cabin. The cabin was so quaint and romantic. Although rustic, the attention to detail was perfect. The fire place was awesome. We had a lot of fun finding the neat surprises built in the cabin that always lead to something new. Pair this with some of the great wine and you have a perfect getaway.
