  Winter wonderland in Saalbach, Austria

  With my wife we stayed at Hotel Barenbachhof in Saalbach from 10 March to 15 March 2013. All I can say that beside the excellent price (EUR 78 ppn) we can only say that this is one of the better ski-accommodation places we ever stayed. Spotlessly clean, plenty of warmth and hot water at all times (which in Italian ski resorts is often the problem), and in conclusion excellent self serve breakfast. The hotel offers lunch as well as diner, but we only had drinks and coffee at the bar. Good ski room equipped with good size ski-repair bench and tools. And of course ample car parking. In addition the staff are great hosts...

  Quiet and very clean.

  We stayed from Wednesday to Wednesday in bed and breakfast. Very satisfied with the breakfast and the room where cleaned even before we came back from breakfast. We had a standard double room with a balcony, unfortunately was the view straight into the forest. The hotel was placed 10 min walk from the Schattberg lift, a bit long walk in ski equipment. The postive side is that it´s very quiet, not traffic or any after ski noice. The hotel have a ski room, with shelfs for boots. This did not had any warmt in them so the boots didn´t dry up for every ski day. We will sure recommend this hotel, the staff is nice and helpful and the food is very good.

  Veldig bra hotell med bra beliggenhet.

  Very good hotel in a great location. Great food and clean rooms. The hotel has its own verandas and large rooms. Should there be anything I missed, there is a safe in the room and a little more that happens in the evening. Would like to travel again.

  Wonderful Stay

  We were a party of 11 family members for a 5 day stay. Hotel was in perfect location close to centre of town. Comfortable rooms, good breakfast and a lovely quaint bar. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful and went out of their way. Lady working in the bar... wonderful hostess. Would highly recommend this hotel for a stay. Manager on check in was very friendly and helpful and for our new years dinner he made sure the vegans and vegetarians were catered for. Thank you.

  Very good accomodation

  Stayed one week for skiing with "Halbpension" (breakfast + dinner). The rooms are clean and functional, no luxury, but comfortable beds and enough with space. We were a company of 18 and everyone found a suitable breakfast, good selection of bread, teas, spreads, coffee, cereals, a variety of eggs etc. The dinners were rustiqe and generally good. No haut cousine, but again, good and well organised. About a 10 min walk to the nearest ski lift (Schattberg Express). Nice and helpful staff.
