  Home Away from Home

  I cannot fault this little gem. My room was large, excellent bathroom & kitchen facilities. The bed was very comfortable with extra pillows as required. Plenty of bathroom amenities as well. Nice quiet location within walking distance to local pubs & the mall. Carol made the most amazing breakfasts each day delivered to my door. The indoor pool was very pleasant for a dip. I will definitely return.

  Great Family Accommoddtion

  Older style accommodation so facilities are a little bit dated but the apartment was lovely and clean (which is what counts most) and the facilities are great for a family. Being from QLD, we loved the heated pool! Management was friendly and getting to meet their beautiful cat Casper was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend.

  Comfortable accomodation

  We stayed for 2 nights at the end of our Tasmania trip and prior to boarding ship to Melbourne. The Inn was comfortable, well equipped and clean. Good location near sea front with walks to lighthouse and 5 minute walk to Bass Straight Museum and Cafe. Also easy walk to town centre and 10 minute walk to large Coles and Woolworths. The owner was helpful and she was very informative.

  Fantastic service and comfortable rooms

  The staff aswell as graham are very friendly and will go above and beyond to meet guests needs. Rooms are very comfortable and modern. highly recommend staying here. Close to the beautiful bluff beach and drift restaurant as well as many other facilities in Devonport.

  Great place really recommend and we are returning.

  I booked this on Booking.com.. usually we dont do that but go direct to the property. We were driving down the street to the Motel and I could see my wife out of the corner of my eye and the look on her face like "we are not in the centre of town..how far are we going to have to to get a feed"" all those type looks fellas. In truth only one street over from facilities. Anyway we checked in and it was smooth easy and our room was right at the back of the property which I thought was great. On opening the door wife says "oh wow" so I immediately know that I am in the clear. The Oh Wow was at the size of the room and it was large, with a king size bed continuing onto a kitchenette with fridge hotplate etc but coming off there is a large bathroom with shower only but large vanity area. We had 2 nights and were extremely happy there so much so that we are taking our parents to Tassie next year and will stay here. But WARNING.. the Barclay gets booked out which I am already experiencing for next year. Anyway, great people, great spot. you will not be disappointed unless you are just hard to please..I know you exist !! hahaha. good luck
