  Family run, excellent value for money

  Such a super place to stay. My studio was well equipped with a lovely terrace. Last year I stayed at the Sotaris Hotel about 1K from the Barbara Apartments. The latter is so much better, nothing is too much trouble for the family who run it. A short walk to a gorgeous beach is the crowning glory. I went with Jet2 who I can't praise highly enough. I will definitely be back here next year. As a solo traveller a good package is very important to me and this has been a wonderful trip.

  A BEAUTIFUL holiday BUT..........................................

  Chapter 1.... If you get room 121, ensure you have good wheels on suitcase! Be afraid, be very afraid of the mosquitoes lurking in the green shrubbery! DO NOT expect sunshine on your balcony at ANY time of the day/evening (unless Pete's there). DO NOT for goodness sake have an accident especially at night as there is no phone in room and it's a long way to crawl to bar/reception and you do not want to wake Barbara (who doesn't smile ) Papa or their daughter. Chapter 2....Met The family, as Liverpool were playing; ordering two omelettes. I got my omelette in the first half and Pete got his in the 93rd minute. And still Barbara didn't crack a smile. Not a good service and not a good vibe to be in. Chapter 3....On someone complaining about poor cleaning of room,(for example.... bin only emptied once, towels changed only once and when bedding was changed (only once) BEDS NOT EVEN MADE at any point of the week) The lady was met with an angry rudeness from The Daughter. Chapter 4....Gyros next door were very welcoming and even serenaded at the end of the night by a welsh man with a guitar. Beautiful walks where some beautiful people keep popping up *YAMAS* to shooting stars.

  Sef catering hol

  Our accommodation was large but basic. There was music on all day , which is OK in the bar area but when you can hear it in your room at night it got to be annoying. Breakfast served every morning in the bar which was good . There is a limited choice of food in the bar which was fine. The pool and pool area was clean and well kept and the family that owned the apartments were friendly and obliging. Only downside is the walk to the beach if your not fit forget it .

  Better sleep somewhere else

  Nasty bed bugs. Air conditioning was not functioning. Pool was a joke. Room had nasty mouldy smell. Hungry mosquitoes. The old lady in reception rebuffed our claims. She was rude and belligerent. Avoid.

  Excellent value.

  This is the perfect spot if you want relaxation without fuss. Barbara is ru by a lovely family who are always happy to help in any way they can. Rooms are basic but always clean. Pool area is very good and supported by a small snack bar and bar. It's an easy walk to a beautiful beach
