  As loyal guests of 10 years, this year was the first for several years where the manager actually cared about the hotel. Azim worked incredibly long hours and was extremely concerned to know how we were enjoying our stay as it really mattered to him - not the case in the last few years with the current operating company. The staff were attentive, the breakfasts excellent and for most of the time the ambience refelected the unique positioning of the hotel and the outstanding countryside and seaside. Unfortunately, the owning company still dont understand their market, and have pursued the idea that they can attract twenty-year olds without children, who want loud music and cocktails. The failure of this approach meant that we were spared the worst excesses of this, and our wish for next Summer is that they finally nail their market and fully get behind the staff team in satisfying it.

  Simple & comfortably styled

  This place helps you to calm down. Nothing's too much, nothing's missing. The very cozy decoration is both catering to the perfectly relaxing ambience, whilst also serving your comfort. You shouldn't expect a rigid and conventional environment but an easy-going place to feel free.

  We Ambushed Baraka/Hisarönü with 33 Old Friends!

  We literally Ambushed Baraka/Hisarönü with 33 Friends for 3 nights and 4 days! The Place is very cozy and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The Personnell are very professional and friendly. They were on their toes all the time! Look at the pictures and enjoy!

  Great location and setting

  Stayed here several times throughout the years, and was happy for each of my stays. A simple, cozy decoration adorns the lobby. Friendly staff is always attentive. Rooms are simple but has everything you need. And the setting is so dramatic and beautiful.

  Great location, great staff, great ambience

  A friend of mine mentioned this cute hotel when she heard that I was looking for a quiet, relaxing, adults-only spot, so I decided to give it a try. I stayed at Baraka for 3 days, and honestly, it was so hard to leave! I have a degree in hotel management, and I travel frequently, so during the years I've become quite picky about the places I stay. Baraka is not a perfect hotel (is there one?), but it has this homely, welcoming vibe that is so rare in the industry these days. As a guy who requires a day or two to acclimatize to new surroundings, it was quite surprising to feel at home after only a couple of hours. The staff played a big role in this, especially Amie and Tanya, who felt more like friends than employees throughout my stay. I wasn't actually looking for any activities, but "movie night" was fun, and the free yoga lesson was so good and relaxing... it was quite surprising to come across such a skillful and experienced yoga teacher at a hotel, to be honest. I needed a cosy, quiet place that felt like home, not an establishment. And I found it. And yes, I will definitely go back as soon as possible.
