  A fantastic place to stay!

  This is not our first visit to Bantry Bay International and it never fails to satisfy! It has a perfect location on a rocky bay, with sweeping sea views and the pool deck below could not be closer to the waters edge. All units are sea facing with an outside balcony. It is literally just around the corner from the Clifton beaches and a short walk (10 mins) to a shopping district in Sea Point. The units have recently been refurbished and the beds & linen are very comfortable. The kitchen could do with a little updating & maintenance. Bantry Bay itself is an excellent area and one of its best features, is that it is almost entirely protected from the South Easterly wind, which can blow a gale on the 'other side of the mountain'. Perfect on the pool deck! This resort does not have restaurant or bar facilities and is certainly a smaller scale timeshare resort, but this is a plus in my book. Parking can be tricky, but certain units are allocated undercover parking bays or roadside parking is available on a first come, first serve basis. The resort has a free shuttle bus service that operates until early evening, and the city also has an efficient 'My citi' bus service to get you around. If you want to see the sights and time is limited, then the 'Hop on Hop off bus' is a must. Overall, you will not be disappointed with a stay at this resort - the views & location are worth it!

  Excellent views

  great place and area to stay in and very friendly and helpful staff. It is a loft with only 1 bathroom which is up stairs so you need to know that is you are traveling with another couple or friends. The ocean view is awesome and the area that the resort is in has amazing sunsets and great restaurants in walking distance.

  Very good stay!

  The staff where very nice and helpful the views are amazing,The rooms super clean and lovely however There deck facility's where a but outdated,and the Wifi does not really work in your rooms and you have to pay for it but overall a great stay.

  Outstanding Location

  Truly magnificent location, beautiful resort. This is more like an apartment, no activates or communal space, small lounge and great pool area and BBQ facilities. They offer a shuttle service which made transportation a dream. No need to have your own car, parking is a nightmare. Walking distance to Sea Point and beaches with an easy sidewalk to walk on. Staff are more than willing to please. Unit size was spacious and view is breathtaking, furnishings are a little dated but well maintained. Could not ask for more.

  Own timeshare there and love the place. Beautiful view,well run,staff terrific -BUT there seems to be continuous renovations and building with builders noise and dust all day.This has happened numerous times we have stayed there (first time it was building next door-not their fault but two holidays destroyed).We thought all this was behind us but weve just heard that renovations due again this year. Considering going elsewhere. A big minus.
