  Cheap and lovely (but the beach was not that great)

  Me and my friends (we were a group of 9 people) absolutely loved staying in the bungalows here. There were lots of areas to hang out together and we even had a BBQ there! The staff was wonderful in helping us out all the time. They were extremely accomodating! There is only one small downside about this place- there is access to the beach, but unfortunately that area of the beach is not very nice. There was trash everywhere (bottles, shows, etc). I think, though, that the beach would be a lot nicer and more inviting for a swim, if somebody cleaned the area regularly! Oh and another minor detail that me and my friends did not enjoy very much were the blankets which were basically large towels....but for this price--> Who cares about the blankets? :) All in all, I would definitely come back here!

  Super friendly staff and cozy bungalows

  This was my best stay in Thailand. The friendliness of the owner was outstanding. She helped me with organizing and booking my further trip and was there for me whenever I asked. The bungalows are very nice, there are different ones for every taste or budget. I lived in the simple bamboo hut, as I personally prefer the feeling of sleeping in nature. The bed was good, the hut was clean and there was everything I needed. You can have free coffee and drinking water. The shower was hot and there was a good mosquito net. The breakfast is delicious and good value, you can choose between different options. There is also cold water, beer and soft drinks you can buy there. The beach is right in front of the homestay and its a very beautiful, wide and empty beach which you can have long walks in both directions. You should swim there at night at least once as the plankton is glowing! You can rent a motorbike or use the free bicycles (which are really old). Better use a motorbike to explore the amazing caves and grab some food in one of the good restaurants in the town around the corner.

  Excellent !

  We arrived in Bansonmanee in August after having visited 5-6 other bungalow resort around, and this place was clearly the best between all for low the middle budget travelers. The bungalow were the cheapest from all, but were equipped with AC and hot shower, were pretty and with a balcony, and were next to the beach. The lady in charge is really sweet and helpful, and unlike other places, worried about the visitors and not the selling. We clearly recommend this place for any low to middle budget traveler who wants to enjoy this nice, calm and remote area.

  Disappointed

  Stayed 3 nights too long, advertised free Internet? No, my last night had no running water, no shower. My room looked like a mad man had painted it, the park is messy, building material everywhere, grounds aren't kept very tidy, I think the owners are trying to sell the property, therefore, no passion, for 700 baht, no thanks, I won't be back to sonmanee, oh the aircon was very good.

  Fred og ro og total afslapning.

  Et lille hyggeligt og autentisk sted på Khanom strand. her er ikke meget luksus men tilgængæld masser af charme og venlighed fra den utrolige søde og hjælpsomme værtinde. små gode bungalows med de nødvendigheder som aircon og køleskab samt bad, som bare var ok. man kan leje cykler på stedet, som jeg vil anbefale man gør, da afstandene er lidt lange imellem de forskellige spisesteder og turen op til Khanom by. Et sted hvor der ikke er mange turister så du har den helt vidunderlige strand for dig selv. Dette område er kendt for sine lyserøde delfiner og de kan også opleves men bedst ved hjælp for en tourguide, sjovt. Da området mest er et sted hvor thaierne holder weekend er priserne på indkøb i byen meget meget billigt. mad på stedet er muligt. 2 forskelige morgenmads menu, æg med bacon og toastbread juice og kaffe eller te eller thai style, 100 bath. skal bestilles dagen før. det samme gælder for aftensmaden. Der er et fuldt udstyret køkken som står til fri afbenyttelse hvis man selv ønsker at kokkerere. Igen vil jeg fremhæve værtinden , for hendes venlighed. hendes mantra må være, service, service and service. A small cozy and authentic place on Khanom beach. here is not much luxury but availability lots of charm and friendliness from the incredible sweet and helpful hostess. small good bungalows with the necessities like aircon and fridge as well as bathroom which was just ok. You can rent bikes on site which I would recommend to do as the distances are a little long between the various eateries and the trip up to Khanom city. A place where there are not many tourists so you have the absolutely wonderful beach for yourself. This area is known for its pink dolphins and they can also be experienced but best with the help of a tour guide, fun. As the area is mostly a place where the Thai people spend the weekend, the prices of shopping in the city are very very cheap. Food on site is possible. 2 different breakfast menus, eggs with bacon and toastbread juice and coffee or tea or thai style, 100 bath. Must be booked the day before. The same goes for the dinner. There is a fully equipped kitchen for free use if you want to cook yourself. Again, I want to emphasize the landlady, for her kindness. Her mantra must be, service, service and service.
