THE!!! BEST!!!Mary is the perfect hostess; the house is gorgeous; the grounds are out of this world! Do yourself a favor and be SURE to stay here! We plan to include the Tipperary area in every future trip to Ireland IN ORDER TO STAY AT BANSHA HOUSE. The house itself is now the draw! Easily our favorite B&B of the trip!

Gorgeous B and BBansha House is a 300 year old home owned by the same family for the entire time. It is a truly stately home with a wonderful hostess and beautiful rooms. We really enjoyed eating breakfast in the kitchen and listening to the news with Mary!

Enchanting and picture-perfect IrishThis B&B has it all: An old country house, a very charming hostess, a cosy livingroom with open fire, lovely rooms with beautiful views, comfortable beds and delicious breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay in Bansha House in early January. The house is located in a picturesque rural setting in county Tipperary. Mary Marnane was very helpful with tips, recommended the best restaurants and helped us planning our sightseeing tour. Though the rooms did not have a television, there is a big one in the living room for guests to use (with many different channels). Attached to the house is the flat racing yard of Mary's son, with excellent training facilities well worth having a look. If you would like to experience the rural Ireland, stay here.

Country Manor GemThis is a charming estate house full of horse racing history and hosted by one of the best hostesses that we have encountered. Mary made us feel like we were old friends and gave us the benefit of her local knowledge to send us to a marvelous restaurant that we would never have found on our own. We only stayed one night, but could have easily stayed on for more. The room itself was comfy and quiet and the grounds are spectacular.

Warm welcomeMy partner, our 6 month old and I spent 3 wonderful nights at Bansha House. The beds were comfy, Mary's home made bread, jam and apple tart were delicious and the breakfass set us up for the day. We had a lovely time meeting Mary and her extended family. We were treated to a tour of there stables and training facilities. Mary is a great character and gracious host. We look forward to a return trip in the future.
