  Not really worth

  We stayed at this hotel for 1 night because of the location. The hotel is large , the room is okay , wifi not working contact with FO 3 times but nothing happens .. Checked in wait for 45 min.. Went to a restaurant for lunch and ordered something have to wait for service staff again for 25 min for came to take the order but its okay.. Breakfast is good , overall not really worth

  Absolutely dreadful.

  I stayed in this hotel for one night while on business and it was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. As others have said, the place needs completely refurbishing (or demolishing and rebuilding) as it surely dates back 40 years to when the resort was in its heyday which it no longer is being nowadays very downmarket. The rooms are very grubby, the furniture is filthy, the air conditioning is extremely noisy, the kettle provided only just warms water rather than boiling it and there is no hot water in the bathroom tap. On top of that, the external environment is difficult with noise coming from the road all night, and on the night I stayed there, a rock band struck up just outside at 1. 45 am and continued until 2.30. And if you think you can survive that, the rooms are alive with mosquitoes; in the two hours sleep I managed to get, I was bitten a dozen times. The restaurant is moribund - no one eats there except at breakfast and the food provided by room service is dreadful. I did not realise that establishments of that calibre still existed but evidently, they do. Avoid at all costs!

  Villa was very substandard

  Usually like to stay in a villa cabin to get away from noise in hotels but this was a poor choice. Besides being very dated the cabin bathroom sink facet fell out of the vanity, only one large towel provided, no toilet paper, bugs everywhere. Got a special $55 a night rate but could have better for $20 a night nearby.

  Good Service and FB in Dated Hotel

  This is the best hotel in Bangsaen for service, I had a talk with an expat operations executive coming to ask if I needed anything, and the security guard escorting us to our rooms was very helpful. Also FB is great, everything is delicious in breakfast line. Though the room is quite old and dated but understandable given it's the first hotel in the city. But there were some bird poop (I guess) on the balcony which was quite disgusting, I tried to understand that the hotel was closed for sometime during Covid (given some areas are under renovation and maintenance) so might still not be 100% open with 100% of manpower yet. Also the landscape was quite messy. Anyway, cleanliness is an important key as well, hope it will get better on my next stay! PS. I think there are better choices with this price.

  Nice, but bed was a killer

  I really liked this hotel but unfortunately the bed was not the best for me. The hotel is clean, friendly staff, nicely appointed and well maintained. The room was nice but the bed sits on a platform. Without the traditional clearance from the floor to the bed you have to sort of slide down to get off at the end of the bed. For me, a middle aged man, as well as my much younger girlfriend, this proved to be a challenge. It was also not comfortable so after a long drive this was disappointing.
