  Very easy to find. We had a lovely friendly welcome. Nothing was to much trouble. Our room was upstairs, very spacious en-suite accommodation. Fantastic full English breakfast. Lovely location. Rural but not to far out. Will definitely visit again.

  Dear Lord help!!!

  Booked this after reading fabulous reviews on Expedia. Beautiful farmhouse with fabulous breakfast in the morning sounded just perfect for a one night stay for myself, the husband and two kids. On arrival at 10.30pm at night all we wanted to do was get comfy and sleep.......however, this just didnt happen. Immediately noticed that there was an abundance of bugs all over the walls. Thinking that maybe the window had been left open with the light on I tried to put the kids at ease.....until we noticed the spiders, there was a nest above one of the beds with around 15 spiders crawling on it, by this time the kids were in tears. Still trying to calm the situation I went into the side drawers to get a book to squish some of the more noticeable crawlers when my hand made contact with yet more legged creatures in there too!!! Went into the bathroom and there was a dead worm on the floor and a live millipede in the shower cubicle. That was enough, I went to the door of the main house and asked for another room but there was nothing available, the lady said she would come and kill the spider and when shown the sheer volume of creepies in the room still looked perplexed as to why we didnt want to share our beds with spidery beasts! We immediately left and booked the travel lodge nearby.....not before our lovely host slammed her front door in our faces.....moral of the story, if youre not bothered about sleeping in a clean, bug free environment fill your boots, but Id recommend to stay well clear of this place.
