  Beautiful.....comfortable......relaxing

  My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and would have stayed longer if there was a villa available. The resort is superbly maintained and the gardens, pool and all villas are just lovely. The self catering aspect was great, and we used the bbq every day. Our meal at the Cafe was also superb. The only problem we could see was the lack of security around the car parking area and the easy access to the grounds by criminal gangs. Our room door was tried both nights we were there, and unfortunately another couple had their brand new car stolen from the car park and burnt out down the road. This is by no means a reflection on the wonderful staff or the resort, it's just that the crime rate in Broome in general is beyond belief and extremely high. I'm hoping that we can get back to the Bali Hai soon. We loved it.

  Pool area is nice, rooms are basic but comfortable. During our stay of 5 nights were only serviced once. We had to continually ask for teabags & sugar to be restocked. The outdoor bathroom was ok, but not when it rained and needs updating. We were disapointed that there was nowhere to get breakfast, coffee or drinks during the day on the resort itself but that was most likely not the resort's fault & due to the lack of available employees in Broome & the covid travel restrictions. The aircon worked well and was much needed! The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

  Relaxing, beautiful setting, paradise

  Check in: Had to wait a few minutes on arrival due to check in staff showing other guests to their room. We were very hot and dripping with sweat and didn't want to wait, however we got over it pretty quick. Only waited 2 minutes tops. Hotel: Beautifully landscaped and presented well. Large shade over the pool, frangipani trees everywhere, nice looking villas, very green and lush. Rooms: We had a deluxe studio villa. Loved it! Very roomy, i LOVED the outdoor shower and my wife enjoyed the indoor one. Both of them were well oversized! Comfortable bed, good size, well-equipped kitchen and cozy lounge area. Outdoor area didn't get used as it was so hot when we were there. Only annoyance was the air conditioning unit was very close to the bed and couldn't get it to stop blowing in us when we were asleep, but couldn't sleep with it off due to the Broome heat! I'm sure there was a setting on the remote that I just didn't figure out. In room safe worked well, however would prefer a larger one as my laptop didn't fit inside it. Pool: Small in size, however adequate for the size of the resort. 7am - 7.45pm opening hours is reasonable. Very refreshing and used it around 2 times per day. Food: Quite disappointing that the restaurant is not open very often, would have been great if they offered poolside meals / snacks / drinks, however I understand that it is low season and Broome has a staff shortage, possibly due to Covid. In saying that, we ate at the restaurant on Sunday night and LOVED the $25 Sunday roast dinner, not large in size, but adequate and very tasty! Be aware: I was anxious about the lack of security and the high crime rate in Broome. The front desk closes at 8pm and there are no staff (that I knew of) until the next morning. Break ins and theft is sadly prevalent in Broome and with the open plan of the resort, anyone can wander in and create havoc. It would be up to us to call the police to ask for assistance which I would imagine could take 5 - 10 minutes for them to respond, assuming they aren't busy. The situation was worsened for me when the power went out a bit after 8pm on Saturday night after a storm and the resort had no power for 3 hours! Made me on edge as we only had our phone lights which quickly diminished and we couldn't charge our phones. Found out later that the entire town and some neighbouring towns was effected by this power out so it had nothing to do with the resort. I called Cable Beach Club to ask if they had power and even they didn't have any. I assumed that hotels would have backup generators, I guess not. The hotel couldn't do anything about that so I can fault them for anything here. Would be great if the resort upgraded their keys to a credit card sized one and then this could be used to access the resort via locked gates. Would put so many people like myself at ease. Overall: Loved our stay, perhaps my paranoia got the better of me which was my own issue. The staff were lovely, friendly, approachable and always willing to help when they could. I would definitely stay here again

  Relaxing and Beautiful Setting.

  We are locals to Broome and decided to stay here as we couldn't travel this year. The staff were absolutely amazing and so welcoming. Our room was perfect for our needs with great well maintained facilities. The pool area is lovely and offers both shade and sun all day. The Spa was wonderful and the massage was so professional and relaxing. We ate at the Restaurant 3 out of 4 nights and were blown away by the quality of the food and the service. I HIGHLY recommend a Stay at The Bali Hai Resort and we will definitely stay again.

  Holiday in Paradise

  Myself and my partner stayed in a Studio room for 2 nights at Bali Hai. The room was spacious, nice apartment style. Bed was very comfortable, I liked the barbecue outside. I had a spa treatment which was so amazing. The only thing I didn't really like, is the restaurant doesn't have a lot of Main choices that aren't seafood options. As someone who doesn't eat seafood, I had to eat sides for my dinner. Other than that we had a wonderful stay. Upon check in, you get offered Lemongrass tea which was a nice addition.
