  An oasis of calm in a buzzing village

  Balhambra Suites was perfect for a week's stay in Fiscardo! Idyllically located in the centre of the village, there are easily over ten tavernas within walking distance as well as bars and cafes, plus a mini market on site. There are also two beaches, Foki and Emplissi, both around one KM away which have tranquil, crystal clear waters. Our room, #112, was superbly clean as well as modern and had a huge balcony which caught the sun throughout the day. The bed was comfy, there were sufficient cooking facilities in the room (a hob, kettle, microwave, fridge) and the cleaners always did a superb job. All the staff were incredibly friendly and made my girlfriend and I feel very welcome. Whether relaxing on the sun beds on our private balcony or eating out at fantastic tavernas on the seafront, Balhambra Suites was the perfect place to stay. If anything was to be improved, it would simply be the a/c. Our room came with an unconventional a/c unit, which kept the room coolish but an additional fan would be appreciated! Nonetheless, a fabulous stay! We hope to return.

  Excellent Suites in Beatuiful Fiscardo

  Beautiful Village, my favourite in Kefalonia. Balhambra suites are the must go place for having the best holiday in Kefalonia. Modern suites with all the comfort you require, always perfectly clean and modernly furnished. Must go place for a top quality vacation. You can reach the best shores easily, Myrtos, Assos, Fteri, Antisamos, Amidi, Dafnoudi, Melissani cave etc... Every best attraction Kefalionia offers is easy reachable from Fiscardo, and its position at the top of the Island makes it an unique place. Just downstairs you have bars, cafes, restaurant, shops and all the services, taxis... Honestly highly recommended.

  great location

  we were booked into room 112. loads of space and a lovely bathroom. the beds were comfy and the balcony was huge. extremely clean and comfortable and so close to the bar's, shops and restaurants for the evening. loved it, thanks

  Superb location, lovely suites

  Great location, well equiped, all with balconies and seaviews.Adjacent to a good supermarket. Angelo the host is very accomodating. Good for the hussle and bussle in high summer but equally possibly too noisey for some. Parking is available close by

  Lovely stay in exceptional circumstances

  We arrived the day after the hurricane which had hit the island causing huge amounts of damage. Angelo met us from the taxi when we arrived in Fiskardo and explained that the apartment we were due to stay in had been badly damaged and had no running water, so instead we were moved to the Balhambra Suites which thankfully did have water (other people we spoke to who were staying in Fiskardo didn't). While the 'new' apartment was smaller than the original it was in a better location, less than a minute to the harbour and Tavernas, shops etc. The room was spotlessly clean, and kept so by the two very friendly cleaning ladies. Considering where things were when we arrived we had a lovely time and would fully recommend the Balhambra Suites as somewhere to stay.
