  Great location, lovely views

  Situated a short walk from Camps Bay beach and restaurants. There are 25 steps to main reception and another 39 Steps to the honeymoon suite where we stayed. It had a huge bedroom, huge bathroom with jacuzzi. Walk in wardrobes. Huge balcony. Floor to ceiling windows with two sliding doors. Great views over Camps Bay Beach, Lions Head, and Table Mountain. Good breakfast and very pleasant staff. Small pool with spacious seating area. Lounge with pool table. Parking is limited, sometimes difficult with the tree stumps, when the Guesthouse is full. Great location, but you need to be fit for those stairs. Not for those of a more senior age.

  A little gem with a great view

  Such a lovely place to stay with greaat views from all the rooms as well as a plunge pool and superb patio with loungers and towels provided. Ideally located with a short walk into the Bay it couldn't be better situated . The breakfasts were lovely as were the staff

  Great place at Camps Bay

  My wife and I we just comeback from South Africa of 2 weeks holidays!., we stay in Camps Bay-Cape Town at the Balfour Place Guesthouse for 5 nights at room 4 ( The Honeymoon room )., without doubt the best room with an unbeatable room over Camps Bay., i guess the other rooms are good too but the number 4 is for sure with the best view!, also the rooms are very big!The place is also couple hundred meters from the beach and all the restaurants and bars but located in a very quiet corner of Camps Bay and also is great to park you car., so , you cannot ask for a better place to stay in Camps Bay.For sure you can get some more lux .accommodation but the relation of quality and price of the Balfour guesthouse is hard to match.Breakfast is not top but good enough and Domminique the Manager is a nice lady ready always to help you and she can give you some good advice to where to eat or anything else.Balfour Place Guesthouse, anytime again!

  Very Friendly, Just Right

  We found the staff here simply excellent. Very friendly, extremely accommodating and perfectly helpful in every way. The communal living space is a nice touch. A pool table, swimming pool with loungers and TV. It felt safe, with parking and in just the right place. I'd stay here again. The room did what it needed to do. You don't go to SA to sit in a room! Would recommend!!!

  Great location

  We stayed at the hotel for 1 week in March and found the B&B to be a good choice. It is in an excellent location with parking in the street. It seemed very safe and the staff were very efficient. The only problem is the number of steps! However the male member of staff was always available to assist with the luggage. The wifi wasn't very good at times. The breakfast was hearty and freshly made. If we were staying in Camps Bay, I would certainly return.
