Now heres the thing!
I have been visiting Greece and her islands for the past 32 years,and never have I felt the need to visit the same place twice. Until now !This was my second visit to the Baladinos apartments in gerani Crete. Positioned next to the sea,with the white mountains as a backdrop in the other direction. You wake up and go to sleep listening to the sound of the sea. As mentioned in other reviews the apartments are modern bright and clean and have every self catering facilities you could want. Theres also free air conditioning and a free safe. They even provide a free mozzie plug -in. Rooms are cleaned every day and towels and sheets twice a week. But the real reason I came back was because of Maria,Costas and the rest of the family. This is Greek hospitality at its finest ! You are made to feel like friends and not just guests, nothing is too much trouble for them great breakfasts lunches and evening meals aswell. They will give you all the help you need suggesting places to see and eat while you there if you want it. But equally you can kick back relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and company.If you want your own piece of heaven on earth then visit. Oh and yes Ill be going back for a third time, Im hooked.! And while you visit you must try one of Costas now legendary many jams !!

Wonderful hospitality
Although the weather wasn't the best because of a lot of wind at the beginning of May, Maria, Kostas and family made up for that through their welcome, warmth, conversation and good home-made food. The apartments are right by the beach so you can almost fall out of bed into the sea. They are clean and spacious and the beds firm and comfortable. The hosts are full of suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to eat in, even in Chania and up in the hills. The dogs are equally charming. Definitely a place to return to.

Splendid location, great hospitality
Location, location and location!! So,the location of the apartments is excellent. You literally have everything right next to you. The beach, a great cafe that serves also traditional food (and some of the best club sandwiches I have tried, with fresh cut potatoes) and if you are into the nightlife etc, you have some of the best beach bars near by. The old town of Chania is I think about 12kms away and there are buses that pass every 15 minutes or so and stop right across the street, which practically means that if you don't plan to go road tripping across the island, the need for a car is not that necessary. The rooms were very spacious, equipped with am aircondition, a ceiling fan (which by the way was more than enough even in the hottest of the days) and a TV and Wifi gratis. The rooms were very clean and taken care of, apart from some minor details, which were too minor to actually be bothered. The family that runs the place is very friendly and hospitable, doing their best to ensure you will feel at home. We had a great visit there, even though it was only for 3 day, but I will definitely come back in the future, as it is in my opinion a great place to relax and chill as your heart desires.

Pretty good!
We were very satisfied with our stay at Baladinos Apartments. Spacious and comfy room. The WiFi had a really bad signal. Very kind and helpful owners. Very close to the beach and stores. Easy to find. Overall a nice choice.

My 2nd home
Sorry this had taken so long to write. I was just debating whether to let everyone know how fantastic this place is because I might not be able to book an apartment if it gets too popular!!! But if you want a piece of heaven on earth then come here. It is perfectly positioned 10 steps from the beach 10 steps from the beautiful beach bar /taverna !!! The apartments have everything you could wish for a/c wi fi all the self catering facilities you would want but do yourselves a favour and eat at their taverna best food in gerani!! Maria kostas mum dad and all the family make this place truly special. You come as a guest and leave as a lifelong friend. They make your holiday truly special and full of happy memories. As I mentioned in a previous review I have never been back to the same place twice but now Ive come back for a third time this place is really that good. But dont take my word for it try it for yourself you wont want to leave!!!!Love to all especially Lilly and nahlia and the new arrival when he /she comes.!!!
