  Convenience and Great Service !

  Stumbled upon Bakers Suites because our flight got canceled for 2 days due to weather and we were greeted by a lovely lady at the front desk. She was very understanding of our situation and assisted us with a room right away ! Friendly , very clean , informative , comfortable rooms , spacious and speedy service ; we loved it all.   Above and Beyond your Expectations!!

  Baker Suites My wife and I stayed at Baker Suites for a week in June and would definitely stay with them in the future. From the time we arrived until the time we departed, we felt like we were a part of their family. The entire staff was welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond to assist in any way we needed. Our room upon arrival was extremely clean and well maintained and everyday when we would return to our room it was as if no one ever stayed in the room. The floors were cleaned, beds made up and accessories updated. The quaint little kitchen was perfect for our needs and all supplies were in place. If we need a special item all we had to do was contact the front desk and if possible they went out of their way to obtain it. One of their above and beyond was a surprise anniversary layout in our room for my wife when we returned back from a day on the island. I have included pictures. As I stated we would most definitely return. At this time I would like to acknowledge the following individuals that made our stay the best it could be.Alexia, Heather, Christina, Shanay and finally Charylse. If you are looking for a relaxing and comfortable place to stay please give Bakers Suites a chance. They also have a partnership with a little café down the street for you complimentary breakfast. You are also in walking distance to many restaurants, night spots and stores.

  Fantastic gem of a hotel in Simpson Bay

  We enjoyed our 7 night stay at the Baker's Suites. Upon check in Charlyse greeted us and assisted in getting our many bags into the elevator and up to our room on the 3rd floor. The room was very clean. Not huge, but large enough. Real bonus that it had a fully equipped kitchen. When we discovered our can opener was broken, Charlese was quick to replace it with a working one. The entire staff was very friendly. Heather, Christina and Shanay were helpful at the front desk. In fact our maid, (forget her name) was always extremely pleasant, humming and smiling and consistant in her cleaning of the room. One thing to mention, the bathroom is not air conditioned. Which seemed weird at first, but actually allowed our suites to dry out nicely. Speaking of air conditioning, it worked great too. Better than some of the high end resorts we have stayed at in St. Maarten. Room also comes with vouchers for a cafe right down the street. You have your choice of a breakfast or lunch item each day (per person). The location of this hotel is right on Simpson Bay beach and convenient to many restaurants and bars. Great spot if you do not have transportation. 2 Chaise lounges and one umbrella cost $10 for the day. Note: Some of the best calamari on the island is at The Greenhouse restaurant right across the street from Bakers Suites. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary while on vacation.The hubby arranged with Alexia a great surprise. When we returned to our room one evening, we were greeted with rose petals sprinkled on the floor, balloons and towel animals. Wine and chocolates waiting for our indulgence! Alexia did a fantastic job decorating and made the evening very special for us. Thank you! The only drawbacks with this hotel in my opinion is that there is no pool and that the parking is on a 50 degree slope. Other than that this is a great value hotel. A gem in the St. Maarten sea if you will. For an inexpensive price you receive a clean room with friendly accommodating staff in a quite and convenient location with a fully functioning kitchen and breakfast included....you can't go wrong.

  Dont bother

  For the price I paid, and I got a deal, not worth it at all. I had a room facing the side building with a balcony, you have to pay for beach chairs across the street, the complimentary coffe is absolutely disgusting. I didnt find the front desk friendly at all. Room are ok just ok! The location is fantastic! But no pool across street for the beach at Buchaneers. Full kitchen is nice

  Awesome

  The staff was amazingly friendly and the room was fantastic, it was very clean and tidy. I felt at home staying here. I will advise anyone to stay here. Its suitable for friends and family. A great getaway spot for all.
