Summer holidayWe had a perfect stay and the overall service and kindness was sublime. We highly recommend Baia Imperiale for a super stay and we will be back. The waiters and the housekeeping was spotless, breakfast was nice with coffee selections and freshly pressed orange juice, warm croissants and great variety of lots of other choices.

Fantastic serviceThe GPS had a hick-up, couldnt find the hotel. After a phonecall and 5 minutes waiting, the hotel send a guy on a scooter to guide us. Arrived the hotel about an hour after the kitchen closed for the night, but still they managed to give us several courses, drinks and whatever we wanted! The room, the view from the room terrace and the restaurant.... We love it! A few minutes (three maybe) down to the beach, just enough to get the pump working on the way up again! The breakfast and dinner - everyday served with passion from qualified straff!!! This was a joyable visit - looking forward to see you again!

A great viewIt was our first trip to Italy. We spent a week in Cortona and decided to wind down on Elba Island. We picked Hotel Baia Imperiale-Elba after researching hotels. We were so happy with the property! Nancy met us at the front desk and gave us a great room #154. It was a long steps and walk to the beach but was fun. The restaurant at the hotel was one of the best surprises great food, service and value!

Amazing view , great staff , unremarkable experienceThis is a unique hotel in the heart of cavoli , crystal clear water and an amazing view from the hotel where you can clearly see few islands and also Corsica. Food and service are both above the standards and there is plenty of things to do. We had one of the suit wich was just amazing with a lovely terrace outside. I would recommend this place all my life, Memories are stuck in my head as i didn't see anything better at the moment.

Overall dissapointingThe one good thing you can say about this hotel is that it has a wonderful view of the bay, but this is the only hotel in this small village and no other restaurants so you did feel trapped and exploited. Hotel is very biased to German guests (really) and Italian visitors. Room very basic, needs decorating and upgrading, door quite hard to open as sticking, first hotel room in 20 years (and we've visited many) visited with no kettle or drink making facilities and 2 bottles of beer and water only in fridge as they want you to go to the 24 hour bar to pay for expensive drinks, shower constantly going hot and cold, restaurant had a nice view but very dirty windows, unfortunately serving very pompous and expensive food and no traditional Italian grub, you need to take the help yourself salad starter to at least get something more substantial inside you, main course is a very light meal, e.g 5 very this slices of sword fish on a tiny bed of lettuce or a few slices of meat with a small serving of 1 vegetable, very weird menu choices. This is the first hotel with absolutely no entertainment for guests, I'm not talking about singers or musicians but a few basic things like an outside table tennis table or a small pool would be nice. A lovely beach and with a great cafe on it and I would recommend eating there to save money and get something more substantial. Having visited nearby Marino di Campo I would recommend staying there, lovely harbour, wide choice of restaurants & nice shops
