NUNCA MAS

Lovely Campsite! We, a family of 2 adults & 2 teenagers stayed in June in a Happy Camp mobile home. We were met by Roy the Happy Camp manager, who was very helpful and good fun! Our caravan, while basic, was clean and had excellent air-con (5 per day but worth it). Bring essentials esp if you arrive later in the evening when shop is shut, no toilet roll or anything in the caravan. The park is really well kept and had 3 swimming pools. Our teenagers took part in pool games and loved the entertainment. Yes the staff do speak Italian but they had a really friendly German girl, Amelie, who translated so no prob there. Also Claudio in the bar was really friendly. In fact, all entertainment staff were lovely. We didnt hire a car when we arrived, so we got a taxi with Gianni, whom the camp recommended and booked for us. We paid 80 each way, cheaper than airport taxis. We hired Gianni regularly to take us to the nearest train station to go on trips to Rome, Vesuvius & Pompeii. The mosquitoes are annoying, 3 of us got badly bitten even with repellant! Cover up your legs! The onsite toilets were poorly maintained unfortunately they didnt have soap/toilet roll. At the end of our 10 days, we cleaned the caravan ourselves and Roy gave us our deposit back. All in all, a very enjoyable holiday & thumbs up from the teenagers!

Lovely Park with excellent PoolWe have just returned for a week at the park. Overall the park and facilities are excellent, especially the pool area and the ice cream shop. Staff at reception are very helpful and quick to put anything right. We stayed with Eurocamp but I forgot to order linen, not an issue, we hired direct from the camp and it was cheaper. Some people have criticised the swim hats, yes this is strange for us in the UK but not a big issue as everyone has to wear them. I actually liked the fact you had to pay for a sunbed, it mean't none of the horrible issue where people reserve beds and don't use them. 100% you need a car as the closest (very small town) is 3k away, be warned the Italian drivers are crazy! Only a couple of issues for me. As it was end of the season (end of season party was the night we arrived!) it seemed that the camp was not restocking some items in shops/bar, they were down to the last 5 ice creams in the pool bar when we left. Not just in the park - we went to Naples and the kids fun fair etc was already closed for winter. My only other comment would be that it would have been nice for the people doing the activities do some things in English, we felt a little excluded as everything was in Italian in fact none of the camp entertainers approached us - I wonder if they knew we were English. Only other comment was I was surprised that we had to pay for the beach area when staying at the camp - we didn't go in the end 15 is too much with the exchange rate!

Eurocamp, lovely stay.I stayed at this campsite with my girlfriend in the first week of september 2019. We had a wonderful stay. The eurocamp esprit accommodation was lovely, quite basic but perfect. The air-con was very lovely. No extra charge for it either. Hats for the pool but normal swimshorts so no real issues but the beach is a minute walk so that was better. Lovely sandy beach. Only criticism I have is the actual site. The shop is expensive and the bar is quite naff. The beach bars were never open but that might be because we were at the season end. Also the water parks nearby were all shut after September 1st. The takeaway pizzas are good prices though. All in all a wonderful holiday.

Eurocamp baia domiziaFirstly do not go here with teenagers!! WiFi is 6 euro a day or 18 euro per week, the Internet only works in certain parts of the camp so if your caravan is not in one of these areas your teens spend every evening sat in reception trying to get a connection. Ridiculous for this day and age. The site itself is a nice site on the beach. Very accessible to Amalfi coast, sights of Naples, Rome etc, the surrounding area is not very desirable, lots of rubbish around. Also I booked with Eurocamp in October 2018, I wanted a 3 bed caravan, we dont do 3 bed caravans on this site the agent said. So, I booked a 2 bed. I was furious when I arrived, opposite me was three 3 bed caravans. We were a family of 5 squashed in a 2 bed. I asked the families in these caravans when they booked, they all booked after me. The representative on the camp told that they may not have known what caravan sizes they were getting at the time of my booking. Not good enough for a company like Eurocamp. Caravans were beyond basic and very tired. Wouldnt go with Eurocamp again.
