  Disappointed (sadly)

  Arrived at the Bahar early 3.20am tired after a long day travelling, spoke to Suleyman before our arrival asking for a ground floor room and a double bed, we arrived to 2 singles and a broken wardrobe and possibly the smallest room ever. Spoke to Suleyman the following morning and he moved us straight away to the apartment over the small pool but upstairs, I struggle with mobility issues but never mind I thought Ill manage! After wed been there 36ish hours the police arrived mob handed 20/30 officers to close down the restaurant, poor Ela was distraught apparently theyd broken some law possibly noise or Covid related ... no one seemed to know or care to explain to the guests ... So the restaurant was moved into the pool area .. Now this is where our problems started ... I know weve all had a crap year and we all want to get away for a break, in 9 months Ive lost both my mum and my aunt so I was desperate for some chill out time .. sadly I didnt get this at the Bahar the noise was horrific, every night until 3/4am, arguing, jumping in the pool, someone with a loud false cackling laugh ... then the barman starts washing glasses etc so its now 5am. The first morning I spoke to Ela and she said noo this cant be right we stop serving at 12 and everyone leaves for 1. No Ela it was 4 am when we finally managed to sleep.. after 4 nights of not sleeping I spoke to Suleyman by this point I was close to tears through sheer exhaustion. That night was much better a 2am finish ... sadly it went back to 3/4am after that. Night 7 and weve to be up at 5am to go to Ephesus, at 12.30 am partner spoke to Hassan who went straight to the pool area, didnt say anything but some of the guests went to their rooms, sat on the balconies and carried on with those that stayed at poolside. Noise continued until just after 3am After a 14 hour day we arrived back to the hotel and I spoke again to Ela, she asked what am I to do you know weve had to move to the pool area, by this point Id had enough .. I called my friend in England and asked her to book us somewhere else, my partner went down to settle the bill and to tell Ela that we where moving and all she said was what can I do .. personally its all about money the bar didnt stop serving at 1am people where ordering drinks until the early hours if a guest asked they where given. Now dont get me wrong I know Bahar isnt the ritz and I know you get what you pay for, Ive stayed here on several occasions and have always classed Ela, Hassan and Suleyman as friends, sadly this was the last time of staying there.

  The Adams family vacation

  This is my 3rd time of staying at the bahar we visited once last year and twice this year as last years stay we were made to feel very welcome had a laugh every day by the poolside with ozzy the crazy pool guy. But all in all its a very pleasant place to stay all made to feel welcome everyone is great very good listeners at times never failed to entertain us the food is nice. So Thankyou to Ella and Hassan sulyman(would you!) serhat okkes and the twins basically everyone that works there you all do a great job everyday keep doing what u are doing will be back next year

  Enjoyable Fun and Friendly

  Had the most amazing time in Bahar Aparts, absolutely amazing. Never go to the same place twice but I will be coming back again next year hopefully twice. Staff are very warm, kind and welcoming. Fantastic entertainment, I would highly recommend and get others to stay here. Loved my stay here dont want to go home. Thanks Bahar youve made me feel like one of the family. Natasha x

  Amazing holiday as always

  This year was my fifth time at the Bahar...and we are so glad we decided to still come on holiday during the pandemic. Having spent the past 7 months not going anywhere or seeing anyone the Bahar is clean throughout and hand sanitisers and masks were dotted around so you know your being looked at and that everything was above board. Food was gorgeous this year...recommend testi kebab and the Turkish meatballs.so full of flavour and very good portion sizes. Drinks were strong (always!!!) buy one get one free vodkas were also a bonus. We arrived at the end of the season with a lot of my usual go to places closing so we spent most nights at the Bahar. Although things were a little different this year we have still had the most amazing time. The boys kept us entertained day and night with nothing being too much of an ask. Having booked for 14 days and with everything shut down we enjoyed our stay so much that we decided at the last minute to change our flight and extended our stay for 3 extra days... best decision that we made. Already counting down to my next holiday and to be back at my 2nd home at the Bahar!! Everyone arrives as a guest and leaves as family!

  A piece of paradise

  Once again had a fantastic time at bahar, met old and new friends. The apartments are spotless and has everything you need for a great holiday. The staff here are really amazing, they literally go out of their way to make sure you have a great time, so much so that we extended our holiday for a few extra days. We fly home tomorrow but have already booked for our trip next year. Well done to all at the bahar for giving your customers such a great holiday.
