  Grandes vistas

  Alquilamos una habitación doble bastante grande y con vestidor y baño independiente. La habitación en sí no estaba mal y era espaciosa con puerta de acceso directo a la terraza y a las piscinas y vistas al mar. El retrete no funcionaba bien y la bañera es poco práctica. Echamos en falta geles y champú que no había nada así como que no te hacían la habitación ni cambiaban la ropa hasta el final de tu estancia. Cuando pedimos toallas para las piscinas nos dijeron que las vendían ,no prestaban( al fin y al cabo es un hostel). La atención,normal pues tampoco les requerimos demasiado. A destacar las vistas y el precio para estar en Bahamas.

  Ruega no tener un problema

  El hostel tiene buenas vistas pero tiene zonas descuidadas que podrían mejorarse. La limpieza es escasa, una vez al día confirmado por una empleada. La ventana de mi cuarto de doce mujeres estaba sellada y no podía abrirse. Pagué por Paypal y me volvieron a cargar el pago en mi tarjeta de crédito. Reclame desde mi país via email y por teléfono varias veces y nunca respondieron. Ahora estoy en aqui y ya lo hablé con 3 empleados distintos y no me hacen reembolso hasta que el manager que esta de viaje no lo autorice. Nadie se hace cargo y me estarían robando 200 dólares. Rueguen no tener un problema porque no resuelven nada ni siquiera personalmente. Cuando regrese a mi pais los denunciaré a mi tarjeta. No volveria y no lo recomiendo.

  Nice place, disgusting service

  The hostel has a nice view from the ocean and bathrooms are pretty ok! But SHERMAN, the guy from the kitchen and the front desk treat you like tras. We got here after hours and the reservation was not well made and they not only had us in the wrong room but only 1 bed when the reservation was made for two. The morning after when we requested breakfast the service was extremely bad until the point where Sherman, the ame guy who welcomes ua last night raised his voice and treated us very disrespectfully and denied to make us breakfast. We had the reservation for two nights but thanks to this unpleasant and extremely bad experience we had to cut out stay at this place for one night. Terrible experience.

  So poorly organized did not have a bed for me, but still took my money

  I attempted to stay last month just for one night cause I had a layover in Nassau. I prepaid online months before and when I show up to the establishment with my boyfriend the man at the desk is confused and said that they only have women beds available. As I already paid for the mixed dormitory, I was confused because I never said asked for the women only dormitory. I asked the man what we could do and he told me he could show me to the bed but not my boyfriend. Then I said okay where should my boyfriend go and he said he has no idea and hes not the person to ask this question but there was no one else working. He then goes along looks in the rooms for an open bed I assume but comes back and nothing changed. Then the man left the property for the night and we didnt see him again. So I prepaid to stay here and then never got to. I then called my credit card for a refund and they contacted the property and Baha Seas refused to give me my money back. I had to take a taxi and go pay for another hotel that night even though I already paid I just didnt have a bed to sleep in. Baha Sea has not been helpful in the slightest even though this is a problem of their fault due to poor organization. A waste of $100. I have never encountered another hotel so poorly organized they dont have a room/bed for their customers. Definitely stay ANYWHERE else!

  Decent for the money

  This was my first experience at a hostel. It was a good intro. I booked a private room with a private bathroom. It was as advertised and clean. Bring everything you need as they only provided towels and toilet paper. They have 2 pools and are right next to the beach. The staff was very friendly. All the ladies at the front desk were super helpful. The chef was also great. The most bang for your buck as far as meals go. No VAT or additional gratuity and the food is actually really good! The jerk chicken was amazing. The male front desk attendant was useless. Very lazy. (I think he was named sherman?) They advertise being a yoga / wellness spot, but everyday I asked about yoga and it never happened. (stayed 5 days) I would recommend pre-booking your activities instead of booking through the hotel. The tour operator did not want to book our turtle snorkel because it was only the two of us. It was fun to meet other people, but be aware - lots of millenials. Some were great, others you could tell were out and about for their first time so they were LOUD. Quiet time is around 10:00. When big mama was working this rule was followed, and much appreciated. When the male attendant was working, music would be blasting past 11:30 PM. Easy to walk to several restaurants, the beach is next door and the #10 bus stop was right outside. I would probably stay here again.
