  Camping situado a las orillas del lago Trasimero, un entorno muy bonito. Tiene todos los servicios: restaurante, supermercado, piscina... , y todo tipo de actividades. También existen rutas para ir en bicicleta junto al lago muy tranquilas. Un lugar familiar y tranquilo.

  Do not go there for peace and quiet

  Although they advertise as such, this camping is by no means peaceful or quiet. In high season there is loud music and loud guests in the restaurant/bar area until after midnight, most of the pitches are close to this area. Young kids continue shouting and running around the campsite, seemingly without parental supervision, until after midnight. When the site finally calms down around one in the morning, one can start to enjoy the distant beats of a disco that appears to be situated on/near the lake until the wee hours. If you're travelling with a tent and looking for peace and quiet I would highly advise you not to go there. We left the campsite after just two days even when having booked (and paid) for longer. During those two days we tried to be out of the campsite as often as possible to avoid all the noise.

  Set amongst pine and silver birch trees on the edge of lake Tresimeno with a mixture of touring caravan, tent and cabins this site is an absolute delight. The staff are welcoming and helpful speaking mostly English and of course Italian. The majority of visitors are Dutch with a few brits who are brave enough to endure the 1000 mile drive from Blighty. The site has very good facilities with excellent showers and toilet blocks all with washing machines which cost around 4 euros. There are 2 swimming pools the large main pool has a shallow end 120cm (min height requirement ) and a children's pool nearer to the lake which caters for the younger ones. My only gripe here is the Italian lifeguard who gave more attention to the young lady on his knee than he did what was happening in the pool. The bar area and restaurant are both good and cater for most needs at a reasonable cost. A shop provides basic provisions along with obiglatory swimming hats which are mandatory in the main pool. However there is a well stocked Lidl 10 mins down the road. The evening entertainment is good with plenty of activities for the kids. However the in house entertainment which included the lazy lifeguard and various other daytime staff needed some polishing. This is a good base for exploring Umbria and Tuscany Siena is a short drive, along with Florence and San Giminiano for the more adventurous. And finally the lake. Beautiful. BUT if you are thinking you will spend endless days laying on the beach and taking the odd dip in a crystal clear Italian lake think again. The lake is inaccessible from the shore line due to vegetation which is very sharp and below the water line. They have built a pontoon to assist getting beyond this but it's not ideal. There is a small partially sandy beach in castiglione a 10 min drive away with two bars. One offers pedaloes and parasol for hire but there is plenty of space for those who want to make use of their own facilities. Basic WC available plus children's play area under the trees. Parking is 4 euros for 6 hours but there is some free parking further away along the main road if you don't mind the walk.

  Beautiful setting, just off the motorway !

  Motorhome with car trailer, stayed for a week- only planned for a few days ! Really clean loos and showers with great pressure and hot water. Since it's early in the season, have a front row pitch, shaded, facing the lake with sensational views of the islands and hills beyond; there are only about 20 other units here at the moment. Probably very busy in high season. Restaurant food very good, shop has basics but a bit pricey. Brilliant place to use as a base for exploring Umbria, but as it is on Tuscan/Umbrian border, Montepulciano, Pienza and even Siena are easily reachable by car. Would definitely recommend as a stop off point if you're doing the long slog down to Naples or coming back.

  Un lugar precioso, mucha tranquilidad y buenos servicios

  Estuvimos a primeros de Junio, quizá por no ser temporada alta el camping estaba súper tranquilo. El sitio es precioso y tiene muy buenos servicios. La piscina está genial, con tumbonas y sombrillas. Baños muy limpios, amplios y cómodos. Una noche con camper dos personas , nos salió por 20 euros.
