  Christmas on Broadway

  We stayed for two weeks over Christmas and had a wonderful time. The bedrooms are spacious, comfortable and furnished beautifully with period furniture. Breakfast was a delight: buffet of cereal, fruit and yoghourt followed by the best American muffins I have ever eaten - a different flavour every day which was impressive over two weeks. The owner was unobtrusively welcoming, encouraging us to use the large public rooms downstairs and generously providing tea and coffee in the early morning and afternoons. Add to that a dramatic Christmas tree, a really comfortable bed and lots of hot water. What more could you want? I hope we shall visit again.

  Stay Here

  This place is unbelievable, a wonderful surprise to arrive somewhere so unique, glamorous, immaculate. Blown away by our suite, we actually cancelled our evening plans to spend more time in the mansion. We had a marvellous host, Darryl, who made us feel welcome and makes the best muffins in the world. If you go to Seattle, STAY HERE.

  A wonderful change of pace

  We had the cabin room. It was fun and cozy. Reminded us of our younger years..the house was beautiful and fun to explore. Amazing piano, it calls to you. Relaxing atmosphere. Kind hospitality. Hot water for tea and coffee and goodies available in the evening. Lots of restaurants near by..Hot coffee and tea ready when you wake. An awesome breakfast. Perfect start to the day. We have nothing negative to say.

  I will never stay anywhere else again while in Seattle

  My husband and I stayed here for a night while in Seattle for a medical study. The mansion was easy to find in a nice section of Seattle. There is plenty to do in the area that is just a few blocks from the mansion. There are some small locally owned shops and pubs. Each of the rooms have their own unique designs. Check their website to decide which is best for you. We were in the Capitol Suite. I liked that it had such an open floor plan with an abundance of windows. We had a bathtub and a shower with our room which was perfect for a hot bubble bath on a cold night before bed. Our host was very pleasant and had coffee and breakfast for us early as we needed to leave early. They also have a balcony on which smoking is allowed. That is such a nice treat in the modern age!

  Cozy, Quiet and Lovely!

  A wonderful place to stay on a quiet street in bustling Capitol Hill. I stayed in the Venetian room, which had a great bed, room to lounge and excellent water pressure. Full covid precautions in place. Breakfast was greatfruit, yogurt and homemade, delicious muffins. Everything is clean and comfortable, and the mansion is full of beautiful antiques, including a collection of pigs from all over the world. Daryl the owner is welcoming and clearly loves this place he has furnished over the course of years. Youll love it too.
