  Phenomenal

  This hostel is quiet, clean, and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The location is perfect 5 mins to The Mrt. Its the best hostel weve stayed at in 6 months of travel probably the best ever. We ended up staying an extra 4 nights and cancelled our other reservations.

  Loud and crowded group

  This is my second time staying in this hostel. I like their facility in general, clean, modern and having some privacy. However, the hostel often receives teenager or kindergarten groups and they can be very loud even till evening in the public area and in corridor. Hostel should actually advise these unpolished travelers to respect other guests. This kinda become one big problems and I would consider if I should come back again.....:(

  Fine, but not great

  This is a tricky review to write. The hostel itself has great facilities. The rooms are a good size, really comfortable beds that have power outlets and a light for each one. The bathrooms are great, cleaned every day and plenty of showers, sinks and toilets for the number of rooms. There is a common area with cooking facilities, fridge, drinking water, tea, coffee and a free washing machine (excellent, and can pay for a dryer for 20 minutes too) and drying area outside. There's PCs and a large TV, reception were also happen to print a document for me for a small fee. There's also plenty of information about the local area available. Here comes the 'but'. During our two nights there there was 2 large groups of school children (around 10 years old) that stayed. They were noisy until late at night and took over the common area - I actually noticed a note on the door that said it had been booked out and so couldn't be used. This is annoying, particularly when during check in, it's made very clear that you're not allowed food or drink in your room. There was no alternative offered and we weren't told about the lack of a common space when we checked in. Plus the noise from the groups while they were in this room was audible all over the hostel, never mind when they were charging round the corridors. I never saw a member of staff challenge them about this, but they were happy to nag us about checking out even when there was 30 minutes until the stated time. There was also loud water noises in our room, presumable under the pipes, it was so noisy we needed up using earplugs. All in all, a fine place to stay, but it is only fine.

  Best hostel Ive ever stayed at!

  The best hostel I have ever stayed at! Modern and very clean facilities. A separate bathroom for women, which you need a special keycard to get inside, I felt very safe! It even had an emergency button inside! Wonderful staff and atmosphere!We will definitely come back when in Taipei!

  Clean hostel with individual rooms

  The hostel is located about 800m from Nanjing Fuxing metro station. We used exit 8 and walked about 12mins to the hostel. The rooms are very small with a two level dorm bed. Big luggages may be a problem, but we only have backpacks, so not a problem for us. Shared bathrooms/toilets are adequate and clean. The hostel is clean. Free coffe/tea/water throughout the day. Plenty of local food nearby. Lounge big enough and we see a fair number of people around. No towels , toothbrushes provided.
