  Beautiful Hotel with World Class Service

  We booked a last minute trip to Kathmandu for a long weekend and saw a lot of good reviews of Baber Mahal Vilas. They were spot on! Exceptional service from start to finish in a lovely setting. Id go as far to say that Ive never had better service in any hotel! The staff must be commended as they looked after our every need, they even gave us a phone to contact them if we encountered any problems when out for the evening. The complimentary upgrade was much appreciated to a stunning cosy suite. One of our best hotel stays, well definitely be back!

  Even Better than expected !! Great Service by everyone !!

  I knew I had chosen a great hotel by the pre-arrival communications. They contacted me right away and offered up whatever travel services I should need. They were always there to answer my questions. The hotel was magical with all its history and unique features. The room was clean and well-adorned. I felt completely safe too. The staff was wonderful - whether it was my spa service, my breakfast, dinner with Folk Dance Show at the Nepalese Restaurant onsite or strolling the hotel grounds... staff was always friendly and offering assistance. Anyone going to Kathmandu should stay here... you will not be disappointed !! It is an Oasis from the busy city... and you are made to feel like royalty while there ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

  Marvellous property with Excellent Service

  Loved the interior and exterior of the villas. The villas has utilized each and every corner in optium possible ways Both food and rooms were par excellent. They served us authentic royal rana thali set. All staff members were polite and cordial.

  Peaceful environment in heart of Kathmandu

  Due to last moment change of plan I landed at this property and had very nice experience here. We arrived at property and took a tour of whole place which was nice and had sauna late night and later had royal thali for dinner which was good. Room had everything a guest required and was very clean. Personally I like the clean pond full of koi fish in their courtyard. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

  Stunning!

  A gorgeous hotel walking distance to the busy streets of Kathmandu. The rooms were wonderfully done and it felt as if you were in a palace. There were also lovely gardens and a pool (although it was too cold when we went!) the hotel backs onto a courtyard with wonderful restaurants and shops. Its in a quieter area as well but easy to get to the main city. Id definitely recommend. Oh, and my partner RAVED about their breakfasts - sausages, eggs, bacon amongst other things. Highly recommend going here.
