  Quiet Resort and Friendly Boss

  It was our first time staying outside hatyai town. Resort was hidden behind small road and shop houses but the sight that greeted us after riding for more than 10hours from Singapore, was simply wow... Didn't expect to find such a quiet, spacious, relaxing resort here. There are swings and daybed in the garden...make a free cup of coffee or tea and sit down to daydream. We were too tired from the long journey so we asked the owner where is the nearest place to get dinner. She suggested that they could go marketing and cook for us at a minimal fee. We agreed without hesitation. The owner's mother cooked us some local food, tomyum soup, fried chicken, tomato omelet, pan fried fish and veg...for only 700+baht for 4 pax. It was delicious and we finished everything. Knowing that we were departing quite early, breakfast was nicely prepared and set up for us the next morning. Very friendly and gentle owners...family oriented. Recommended if you just want to relax for a day or two.

  Unexpected oasis...

  ...in a quite soi. And for trainspotters, I recommend houses 1-4 as they look at a canal of what behind are train tracks of the from Butterworth and KL to Bangkok goes twice a day, so first row opportunity to see the Oriental Express passing through. Spacious stylish houses made of concrete inside out, clean, new. Helpful staff. Big private and secure parking. Dog friendly. Quite, but not too far away from Hat Yai growing vibrant life. Highly recommended!

  3 nights stay at Banwaan with 3 pax

  Good value for money as it's a large room...we paid RM 350 for a room with 2 king sized beds which was great value.breakfast is included in the accommodations price but it's just toast , sausages and eggs.you can help yourself to as much coffee and tea as you like. The distance to downtown is a 15 minutes drive in a car or tuk tuk.it costs about 150 to 200 bhat. A no if the tuk tuk drivers do not know the location of the resort so a little troublesome when catching a ride

  Friendly Staff and Quiet Haven

  I felt like all my stress left me as soon as I checked into the hotel. The staff are friendly, I came back at 10.00pm one night and asked them if they had food, they said the kitchen was closed, but the staff was willing to open the kitchen just to cook for me, as he feared I would be hungry. Really thoughtful of them. The rooms are excellent like a resort in Bali or Phuket.

  Friendly staff

  Only stayed there for one night as we were going to Koh Lipe, but I would definitely recommend the place. Big, clean roomes and friendly staff. The resort is located a bit outside the center of the city, but the staff were very helpfull and drove us to a big shopping mall.
