  middle of nowhere with no facilities and super expensive

  As we wanted to stay in the country side and near the hot spring there was no much choices around. Pictures of the place looked nice so we go for it.... We have paid 6,000 Baht ~ 180US$ for "family house" that have 2 bedrooms. The place is in "nowhere" and have no view to the area. Located inside the family owner fruit "farm". When we called to make booking they say they have no place and the only choice is the expensive family unit. Upon arrival - we are the ONLY guests and the cheap rooms are empty... The rooms have absolute nothing in it. Toilet was leaking, Internet not working, Worst bed ever sleep on - hard as rock. Breakfast was set - not too bad...

  Charming place one with nature

  Great place to be if you want to get away from the madding crowd. Semi isolated but a pure pleasure to the eye. An abundance of fruit trees multi colored flowers. Fountains with a boating lake and a fantastic view of the surrounding Mountains with the mist forming "straight out of a movie, very scenic and pretty. Our room was a OK over looking the lake the wifi played up a bit and the TV channels are all in Thai. Unfortunately for us the day we arrived we experienced a tremendous down pour of rain, never the less we had a pleasant stay overnight. Nae on reception was superb her hospitality was excellent looking after us and we got to sample a basket of fresh fruit (Free) from there garden. The breakfast was very good. Would stay again

  super relaxing resort

  I really enjoyed my 1 night here at the Baansuan Agape Resort. We had a corner room right on the pond and could here the water spray in the pond which simply added to the peaceful tranquility of the place. I room and facilities were modern and new and the bed itself was extremely comfortable and the air con was efficient. I read the previous review how this resort was in the middle of no where with not much to do. This resort is meant for a 1-2 night excursion at most. This place is meant to relax and sleep only, not to hang around the place during the day so I disagree with the previous review. This was a lovely and relaxing 1 night stay in serene surroundings with in an extremely comfortable room !

  Excellent Budget Hotel

  Incredible value. Our group had 2 adults, 3 small children and 2 teenagers, and we were looking for a clean, simple place in kanchanaburi for a weekend getaway from Bangkok. We had a lightning fast check in, the staff was friendly and overly attentive. The grounds are quiet and peaceful. Fresh air and close to nature. Breakfast was made fresh and delicious. Its a ways away from the tourist attractions, but they have drinks available and theres a fantastic restaurant just up the streetBaan Tang Rim Kwae. A must if you stay there. We will definitely be back.

  Nice place to stay

  We stayed one night to participate in the River Kwai International half marathon the next morning. Positive: Nice and friendly staff, the room was big and clean. The whole place looked like someone really cared about the look. Air condition was working. We liked the restaurant. Negative: The bathroom was a bit basic, the shower worked but needed some love. The road to the hotel isn't asphalted and we had to avoid some potholes. The breakfast is rather basic for an european taste. There was not fresh coffee (just instant coffee). Conclusion: Would stay there again, the place was full of half-marathon runners. We can also recommend the restaurant for dinner. Reasonable prices and a lovely service.
