  Lackluster

  The price was reasonable for our superior room. The best aspect was the pool and surrounding garden area. Nice! WiFi was good. Overall there was a lack of attention to detail. A large pile of unused furniture was in full display in the restaurant. Poor to fair maintenance and upkeep of facilities was an annoyance. Overall, the staff seemed to be just going through the motions, not projecting the notion that they are pleased to help. English expertise of the staff was poor to fair.

  They blocked my bank card !

  Reception was closed when I checked in (8:10pm). Had to call a phone number that was written on the door. The lady on the phone said she's gonna send someone. 5 mn later a girl shows up, she seemed nice but couldn't speak a single word of English (not even 1, 2, 3). She obviously wasn't a receptionist at all, I had to scan my passport myself. She then forced me to pay by card even though I said I preferred cash (and it's written on their website that we can pay by cash). But this girl didn't know how to use a bank card machine so she typed the amount 3 times when the machine was asking for my code. That's how she blocked my credit card... I'm travelling around and I had to spend a whole month without a debit card, waiting for my bank back home to send me a new one. That's a shame though cause the hotel is pretty okay, room's decent, 7 eleven right at the corner of the street. But this whole bank card drama ruined my stay.

  Cheap price, reasonable

  Easy to go to 7-eleven, convinence mart 24 hrs operate. A night here is okay for us. It close to Prince of Songkla University and near the bus stop to Patong and Phuket town. Overall of room is okay for that price with air-con.
