  Built on an Old Pier

  The hotel consists of an accommodation block and bungalows along both sides of an old fishing pier stretching out into the bay. Living rooms have limited furniture (presumably to allow space for extra bedding) and wooden benches for seating. A small kitchen is provided in the bungalow but no cooking equipment or utensils. The positive side is the view from the bungalows, particularly those at the far end of the pier which look out directly over the water. Some guests were even fishing. The bungalows near the land have water views at high tide but are over mud at low tide. Close enough to the restaurants on the front after walking through the old village. An unusual hotel.

  Accommodation on the pier

  Good pier location on Ban Sare (which my favourite beach destination, easy access from Bkk). Different, laid back unlike Pattaya or Jomtien. The resort is (almost) alongside the pier. But be aware of the various types available (and more pricey over the weekends). The studio types are on the 2nd floor (further away from pier, with only inlet sea view). I had wanted the 1 bedroom type, closer to pier and better sea view at ground level. But mistook studio type upon booking. I tried to pay for upgrade, but was told fully booked (30/3). Also be aware of limited facilities. The cafe/restaurant houses the small reception desk, and doesn't really operate. The open space park after chalets nearer to pier front is good for family BBQs, and basic equipment can be hired for thb120. Can order the fresh seafood from some small shops nearby. Can ride the resort's bicycles around. (From my Agoda review 2/4/19)

  Outstanding View

  Hotel likes Resort. Drive approx.2hrs from Bangkok. We have booked a family room for 6 persons. Resonable room charge. Staff are friendly. Room is very clean. Seaview is outstanding! Would recommend to stay for relaxing. No pool and swim on the beach!

  Fair

  We got room on second floor of new building. Room is huge with great design and view. Therefore, cleanliness and smell are really need the improvement. The bathroom itself is distinguished. It was not from water but from drainage. Staff are not friendly at all. One of our rooms television was unable to operate. We inform them and staff was shouting at us. Breakfast are salty!

  Big Fat Zero

  Ashed the lady, who clearly worked for the establishment wearing branded uniform at the entrance could we see the rooms, we was told go look through the windows. Well thats a first in over 40 years of travelling. Who needs customers with that attitude. Obviously we didnt stay with that welcome greeting.
