  Wonderful Dinner

  We were a family of 11 from Canada . We came to Abruzzi to bring my father back to his home country and were staying in the San Giorgio area . I pre booked our dinner and Franca and Rino were waiting for us . Our dinner was excellent the homemade appetizers, homemade pasta , meat , homemade wine everything was delicious . I thank Franca and Rino for treating us like family . I would highly recommend eating or staying at their Agriturismo. Grazie Angelo & Familia

  Our 3rd visit

  Franca and Reno have spent a lot of efforts in making this place comfortable and cozy. They offer a number of rooms and we were lucky to get the room with a large balcony, offering stunning views of the Gran Sasso mountains in the rear, the Adriatic far in front. Colle San Giorgio is located deep in the agricultural heart of Abruzzo, very laid back, beautiful, but still close to the towns of Teramo, Chieti, and Pescara. Just a few minutes drive take you to the small hilltop town of Castglione Messer Raimondo, which is always worth a visit. We had requested half board with our booking, as we definitely wanted to experience Francas cooking again. No disappointment at all: freshest ingredients from her own garden, prepared with love and experience are a guarantee for wonderful flavor and let you experience the local cuisine. Usually dinner will be antipasti, pasta as primo, and a main course of meat or poultry, followed by dessert (unfortunately we had to skip this, as we already were too full: portions are generous!). The red wine also is produced nearby and it is very pleasant. Breakfast is simple but very tasty, coffee freshly brewed. This has been our third visit to Franca and Reno, and certainly not our last. It is always a pleasure to experience the honest hospitality and friendliness of them!

  Special farm in Abruzzo

  Beautiful location and a very well cared for old traditional farmhouse. Nice and clean rooms. A good starting point for visits in gran sasso national park. Very nice and warm hosts. A Very good home-made dinner.
