  Nice location, good price

  We stayed in Ayvalik Beach Hotel for 1 week at the end of August. The hotel is located near a nice and calm bay, so you have a feeling that you are not at the seaside, but near a lake.There are about 20+ bungalows situated near the pool and the beach. Unfortunately, our bungalow was near the pool and we had to listen to the Turkish dance parties all night long. The hotel staff was very helpful even though most of them had difficulties in expressing themselves in English. Overall, the hotel is a nice and calm place to stay for 1 week, not more.

  Good Place, bad service and restaurant

  In a very beautiful place with beautiful scenery. Stayed one night only on 3.10.2012. No service and we are alone looking to find out where are our rooms in a large area!!!. Our room was connected to the next room without being locked door, where the occupants biplane accidentally tucked in our room!! The food in the restaurant very terrible bad. Water could not drink in reastaurant during meals because they turned off the water machine in order to buy water from restaurant and to be paid 1,5 euro per small bottle. Water (from out) not permited to bring with us into restaurant.

  Hotel to avoid

  Stayed at this all inclusive hotel for seven nights. The location is second to none and that's where it ends. The food was just about eatable. Service was dreadful, majority of staff were students who did not care about the needs of the guests. Constantly running out of the limited range of drinks. The whole complex was dirty and in dire need of refurbishment.

  best hotel in Turkey

  Ayvalik resort, was the nicest resort that we stayed in Turkey. The room was extremely comfortable, the Hotel was 5 star in my opinion and would stay again in a heartbeat if was to visit again. The underground spa and thermal baths were the cream on the cake, what a relaxing time we had here, well worth the money.

  Terrible & Awful Hotel----DO NOT STAY THERE-----

  We stayed in the hotel twice about 7 & 5 years ago while we were living in UK. Because we liked the hotel very much we went back last year we had terrible experince. We understood that management has changed a year ago.When we checked in the room was ok as usual but environment was very dirty and at the bar staff had an attitute. When we asked drink they has only cheap drinks which werent even bottled, everything was in the back of the bar and just served in the glasses. Next day when we went for breakfast earlier then everybody else and we saw an awful buffet. Flies was around the cloth under buffet was dirty, what every you look everything was so dirty as I was going to vomit. The restaurant everywher you look was dirty. We sat in the balcony and and asked for the manager. We have been told the ,manager will come late. Most of the table clothes has wholes, cutlery was dirty, even I cant describe the state of it. Other hotel guests started to coming and there was a group of people also checked in the day before made a complain and also wanted to speak hotel manager and asked their money to be refunded. We went to recep[tion because we have been promised to check-out late as we wanted to get son at least but the reception manager who promised us for late check out, now she says she can do it we need to check out. We left the hotel without getting listen our compains and has meal outside. I writo a letter to hotel no body got back to us. Also the hotel is using our family pictures on their website without our permission which I told them then no-one took an action so I went to County Court. The answer I got while we were staying in the hotel they have a right to take our pictures and use it. Court asked me to sue them which I will do that. Because they are still using our picture.
