Quality Ayurvedic experienceStayed here for 3 nights, amazing experience, all the staff are amazing extremely friendly and will do anything for you. The therapists are very good, I had someone called Dilip, who did a fantastic massage. The actual facilities are good in the spa and pool area, with a wide choice of spa rooms, including a infrared room, which I have not seen before. The owner and his daughters were lovely. The food is 5 Star, everything we had tasted amazing and the evening 5 course meal was wonderfully presented and tasted as good as it looked. There was so much choice at breakfast, lunch and tea. Only slight downside, no fault of the owners is the noise from passing traffic, when sitting in the lovely garden area. The owners have put much thought into the whole experience customers receive, ensure a very high quality experience. Would definitely recommend.

First Class Ayurvedic RetreatWe stayed for 3 nights & 4 days and had an amazing first time Holistic experience. The front of house staff (Anshul, Manuel), waiters (Daniel, Peter) & waitresses (Barbara, Katharina) to the housekeepers were very friendly and accommodating. The owner & his daughter take the time to speak to you and offer that nice personal touch. The treatments were just amazing & relaxing Wolfgang did my Abhyanga combined with Shirodhara, one of the best massages I have had, he was brilliant! Before or after your treatments there were so many infrared cabins to choose from. Plus a very peaceful resting room with reclining beds. The yoga and meditation instructor (Lisa) was very fun, personable and jolly. Well and then there's the food, which was just superb, like Michelin star standard. Compliments go out to all the chefs. A very enjoyable, relaxing treat to ourselves and won't think twice about coming here again or recommending this place to anyone. The only downside was the time it took to get to the hotel from Uk, we spent pretty much 7 hours travelling. However, very much worth the wait!

Fantastic resort! We have just returned from visiting Ayurveda Resort Sonnhof, having spent 4 days/3 nights there. Quite simply it's a little piece of heaven in the Austrian Alps. All the staff cannot do enough for you......nothing is too much trouble. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and ensure that your stay is going to be the best. Food is plentiful and of exceptional quality too. The 5 course dinner is beautifully presented and so varied from day to day. Lunch and breakfast - you are literally spoilt for choice! Afternoon tea is also served at 3pm......healthy cake (absolutely delicious) along with a choice of various fruits and nuts. We loved just relaxing in the lounge with their afternoon tea and a cappuccino! We had a junior suite ......wow......absolutely beautiful with a walk in wardrobe, tea making facilities, a huge balcony and beautiful views of the garden areas. The views from the hotel are simply stunning........if you imagine "Sound of Music" but so much better!! We had 3 spa treatments - all carried out professionally - so relaxing to be pampered. The massages are the best we have had! For anyone without transport, the bus stops opposite the hotel to take you into Kufstein and literally drops you back off outside the hotel - 5 per person each way. Definitely worth a visit too to Kufstein as the views along the journey are beautifully scenic. For anyone wishing to escape and enjoy total relaxation and tranquility, then this resort is for you. Absolutely loved our stay and cannot recommend it highly enough!

Best Trip EverI was not sure of what to expect here. I had signed up for a detox programme to just really clean my mind and body and it was fabulous! The Ayurveda Doctors Gaurav and Rajat were superb, professional and knew their stuff! The massages were spot on. The massage staff were almost nurturing handling us with the utmost care. Daniele in particular was excellent. The food and accommodation could not have been better. It is amazing what they do with vegetables. I personally thanked the chef...if you visit you will do the same. An intense detox... as a couple may be full on...and that is why I opted to go solo. The sauna and relaxation facilities are soooo very cool and the weather was perfect. Waking up and seeing the Alps through your window is quite sublime. I made some friends...all on their own journey. German clients here are more common but I managed to find a couple of English speaking friends. Tips: no wifi in rooms to ensure you have a detox from screens! You can use it in the lobby. However, I downloaded Netflix movies before I went and was able to watch in my room... Pack lightly as you are in your bathrobe most of the time. Dinnertime...bathrobes not allowed. Mosquitos in warm weather. I was ok but a customer from London got bitten in her room...so bring a repellent or plug with you. The hotel does not have anything. Sauna and steam rooms...everyone bares naked! I took my swimsuit. Swimming pool is small but great for exercise. There is a blue button to start the bubbles in the pool...only discovered it with 3 days to go! 7 days on my own...doing nothing was a bit daunting...but it depends on you. I will do a shorter relaxation break rather than a detox. Neelam I will be visiting next year.
