  Relaxing

  Firstly, we had the Thia suite, the whole of the top floor. The view from our balcony was a slice of heaven. Perfect location for a little walk to the shops & restaurants of Lassi you must try the SAN Lorenzo restaurant, it looks expensive & isnt, by the food and the service it should be!! The beach is beautiful, many more to visit on the island, hiring a car is the best way. Maria, Mirela & the team at the Avra are more than helpful & cant do enough for you. All I will say is if you want a lovely relaxing holiday in a perfect place GO & stay at the Avra suites .. we hope to visit again soon & we are not the type to reach visit when so many places to discover BUT our heads are turned after this holiday.

  Amazing Avra Suites!

  We've just returned from a weeks stay at the Avra suites (2 adults & 2 children aged 9 and 6) - we booked the Amfitriti suite which had a kitchen, living room, bathroom, twin bedroom and double bedroom with en suite. The large balcony was overlooking Makris Gialos beach and had stunning views! The suite was beautifully decorated throughout and spotlessly clean. It was cleaned daily with fresh towels whenever needed. We'd read all the reviews so had high hopes for the breakfasts and my goodness they were amazing! You can choose what time you want it and you open the curtains and there it is, all laid out for you! Beautiful linen tablecloth and napkins and matching dishes. Each day there was a tasty omlette or homemade pie, fresh salad, olives, cheese, cereal, croissants and pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice, all the teas you could think of and the most amazing cake!! There was loads, enough to save for lunch which is what we did each day! Sitting on the balcony having breakfast was a highlight of the holiday! So relaxing, like paradise! I miss it already! Maria and the team were so helpful and friendly and really helped make the holiday. We will definitely return and urge people to book as you will not be disappointed!!

  Unique perfect setting

  We stayed at Avra Suites for week, a truly wonderful experience. Maria and Alexandros were exceptional hosts as were their staff. Breakfast was an amazing surprise feast, laid out beautifully presented every morning on our terrace. All the produce was fresh from the garden and traditionally cooked everyday. Our room was tastefully decorated to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Lots of nice touches, quality products with lots of attention to detail. Bathroom & swimming towels were changed daily, nothing was too much trouble from all the team . The location and position of the property was incredible with stunning panoramic views of the bay and sunset making it a truly unique place. Just a short walk through the garden down the steps to a beautiful Makris beach where there are small bars and restaurants with free sunbeds to relax. My only wish was that we had better weather, we were unlucky as we had a lot of rain. We highly recommend Avra and would definitely visit again,

  Incredible! We loved it

  The Avra Private Suites was the PERFECT getaway for our beach holiday with our 1-year-old. We stayed 11 nights and were blown away by the service (amazing, homemade breakfast delivered to your room every morning), the location (the closest you can get to the beach), and overall accommodation (we stayed in the 2-bedroom which was perfect for the 3 of us). We already can't wait to go back.

  Incredible!!

  We stayed in the Doris suite for a week and were completely blown away by the beautiful setting of this location and the generous hospitality of Maria and her friendly staff. Waking up to delicious breakfast presented beautifully on our private balcony with breathtaking views was pure bliss. The bed is huge and very comfortable. There was plenty of room for a crib for our 2 year old. There is even a luxurious bath tub - complete with robes and slippers. Doris suite is perfect for honeymooners and small families. Best of all - the beach is 5mins walk. Were definitely coming back next summer!
