  Best boutique stay in Banbury

  Another stay at the excellent Avonlea boutique guest house, a cut above anything else in and around Banbury. Work takes me to Banbury two or three times a month so I have stayed in almost all Banbury accommodation options. Pound for pound you won't beat Sian's place on value, more importantly comfort, cleanliness and treats come as standard, plus a sublime breakfast to start your day!

  Great stopover

  My wife and I were looking for an overnight stayover on our way to the Cotswolds. What a great find, from the initial telephone enquiry I felt we had made the right choice. On arrival we were greeted by the owners who showed us to our room and were guided as where to go in Banbury, we immediately felt at home. The room and facilities were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was freshly cooked and was first class. The location was a short walk into town and ideal for a bit of sightseeing. Lots of restaurants and pubs to choose from for an evening meal.

  Excellent bed and breakfast

  Avonlea guest house was easy to find and convenient for the town centre. The owner was friendly and welcoming and gave us information about Banbury that we needed. A good nights sleep an excellent cooked breakfast and good strong coffee. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely return.

  Friendle B&B

  This is a very comfortable guest house and the breakfasts are scrumptious. Care is taken to provide guests with what they would enjoy. The guest house is well placed for sightseeing around the area. We very much hope to return.

  A good B&B just outside the town centre.

  This hotel is well-placed just to the north of the town centre. There is a very useful walking route to avoid the traffic. I soon found it. The breakfasts are excellent, and although there is some sound from the bakery at the back, it doesn't create a nuisance. Unfortunately I had to leave after three days as I became too ill to stay any longer. Hopefully I will be able to go again. I did, however, get to Oxford by train, and Chipping Norton by bus. This was the second attempt at this review; the stupid system wiped out the first attempt and I don't know why.
