    Good option

This simple hotel have clean rooms, friendly staff (but most of them do not talk english) and the breakfast was ok. The location is a little bit far from the city center, but near the metro station (500 / 600 mts) , and within 6 stops you can reach the Red Square.

Very good hotel. Its very clean, close to two main metro station and the best is the metro station close to the hotel will take you directly to the red square which is the main hub for the tourist! The breakfast is normal but includes everything. Room service is clean and on time and the best thing they can speak english.

    Pleasantly Surprised

This hotel demonstrates move in the right direction, that Russian tourism industry appears to be doing. First of all, we took a cab from Sheremetyevo airport to this hotel, which cost us about $30US. It took us about 30 minutes to get there. I'm sure you can find even cheaper deals, if you use numerous apps, like Yandex Taxi, Gett, etc. Doesn't look very appealing from outside, but renovated inside. The check-in process was quick, which we appreciated (had a baby with us). Front desk person spoke English. In order to register your visa, they may take your passport for a while or do a bunch of photocopying, which would delay your check-in. I picked up our passports from the front desk on the next day. Our room was spacious, with plenty of room for a baby crib, which this hotel provides. King bed was comfortable and linen was surprisingly very good. Our room had a tiled bathroom featuring a full tub. Bathroom door handle wasn't latching properly, but it was fixed before we even raised the issue. Chamber maid must have noticed it. Our room had a flat screen TV and a mini fridge, which was very convenient. The TV was on a smaller side, but you don't come to Moscow to watch TV. Breakfast is included. There is a coffee machine, which dispenses several options at a push of a button. Lattes were pretty good; they were small, European size, but you can go at it as much as you want, during breakfast hours. We stayed at this hotel for a week. Food was somewhat repetitive, but not bad (buffet style). A couple of times I noticed they wouldn't replenish a popular item, even though breakfast hours were far from over. Security guy was always present downstairs. It must be a cultural thing, because security is never a concern, when I visit Russia. Guests are allowed until 11pm. There are 2 new elevators in this building. I initially thought this hotel was somewhat remote, but proximity to subway / Metro allows you to get anywhere in the city within minutes. This hotel is located along Leningradsky Prospect and is about 5-minute walk to 2 subway stations. We personally preferred Aeroport station, because it's located right next to a small mall with a food court on the 2nd floor. It has KFC, Burger King, as well as some cool Russian fast-food franchises. Rooms have new plastic windows, which keep outside noise to a minimum. There are several medium size grocery stores within 4 block radius of this hotel (don't be afraid to walk around and explore). They always have deli, water, beer, dairy, diapers, snacks, etc available. Our baby loved Russian milk, so we just kept buying it daily :-) On day 3 we discovered a farmers' market a couple of blocks away, where we were buying fresh fruit, tea, etc. As you exit Avialuxe, turn left and walk about 2 blocks. Adjacent to a pond, you'll find this farmers' market, along with Dominos Pizza, bakery, and several cafes. In the same building, you'll find a cafe that's open 24 hours and serves decent food. Not sure, if the whole hotel is non-smoking, but we've never seen anybody smoke inside the whole time we stayed there.

    Embaucadores

Good hotel for couple of night

Location close to metro station (5mins walk). very simple rooms but clean. english speaking staff who were generally helpful. Communication with the hotel was extremely difficult. I wanted to change date of booking or at least date of check in. I tried through booking.com over 4 times, but no feedback. Also tried to call but no one picked up the phone. One positive thing, i forgot valuable items in my room after check-out and the receptionist was really attentive to help me get it back, which he did. The hotel was expensive for what it offers, but it is world-cup season so very normal
