  Good for short stay

  Was told that this hotel just got refurbished recently but the rooms are still old school design. Besides that, room is spacious, bed is comfortable and toilet is clean. Breakfast is good. Plus point of this hotel is their wellness center! Jacuzzi and sauna! Opposite the hotel, there's an Irish Pub and restaurant. Food is amazing!! There's also playground nearby the restaurant.

  Very nice welcoming hotel. Staff polite and can speak some English, they certainetly make the effort to. The rooms are spacious enough, clean and comfortable. I came with my children and they were very excited with the location as there is much for children to do. Breakfast perfect. We would definitely return.

  Beautiful hotel in Nyíregyháza - Sóstó

  I really love this hotel. It is renewed, truly beautiful and comfortable. The Zoo is 4 minutes away and all the major attraction are within 5 minutes. First I stayed there in 2012 - after that this year. Back then the hotel was an old-styled place, today it is truly beautiful. I gave it 1 star less, because reception is a bit bored and not interested in guests too much. They didn't even mention the spa in the hotel. Breakfast was nice but we had bees all around us. It is not the hotel's fault. I recommend this place!

  Excellent structure

  Hotel is located to 5 minutes from the city center, opposite the Allapark. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Despite being on the road, evening traffic is completely absent. A few steps away is one of the best restaurant to devour all kinda of steak (Colorado Steak House........highly recommended). The staff is welcoming and speaks perfectly english.

  Very expensive but disappointing...

  Highly overpriced hotel where... 1. I woke up for the broken mosquito door constantly smashing the door of the balcony in the wind(family suite with two rooms). It's been like that for weeks/months clearly seen by the level of damage but no-one reported it. The kind staff removed it so next day I could have a nicer morning. 2. The 10 years old fake leather sofa have never seen any maintenance and looks accordingly... Poor quality. 3. The upper wooden panel of an inside door frame was not fixed at all (just put on top of the two sides) and fell on the back of our friends' daughter who was playing with our kids in the last morning. That was a shocking experience not just for us but for the hotel staff, too. Like a horror movie. 4. The restaurant is awful. I ordered a sou-vide duck and they put a boot-sole on my plate. Simply inedible. Go to the restaurant on the other side of the street, instead, which is awesome. In general, this is a classic example of a place where they invested a fortune 10 years ago to make it look nice and ever since they haven't touched it just squeezing the money out of it. My worst hotel experience in Hungary so far even with the polite staff and the good location.
