  A pleasant stay...

  The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful, 30 minute walk to the Caspian seaside park and some other attractions, 5 min walk to US embassy (very helful for me), refrige in the room, etc. Late in the night I needed an Iron and they borrowed me one. The breakfast was very good, at least much better than most of the American hotels of the same price!

  never ever again Avand

  The rooms and bathrooms are not cleaned on a daily basis. The bed sheets and towels are changed every 3 days. The breakfast is horrid starting from the bread . Baku is a lovely city and very pleasant for summer visits but this is no hotel , it is sooooo sub- standard. It is degrading to stay there. I shall go to baku this summer but never ever again to this disgusting place - not to be called a hotel.

  Decent hotel near Train station

  I think it is one of the best hotels in Baku. It is near to the train station, the city center, and it has the most affordable price in Baku. I believe it is the best choice, if you are on budget and still want to enjoy good service hotel.

  Comfortable beds and close to downtown

  It was a really good room with comfortable beds. Staff are really friendly. Breakfast was good. However, hotels lights were not good. Also, there were some little insects in the room and bathroom. We stayed in the hotel for one night only.

  Avand Hotel- Good, Convenient & Safe for solo lady traveller

  1. Hotel is v close to Genclik Mall and 28May. Hotel can call taxi. Only costs $3 AZN. 2. Free flow of coffee n tea daily 3. Good breakfast with omelette, hard boil eggs, sausages, ham, toasts, vegetables. 4. Hot water tank and good air con. But bring your own hairdryer. 5. Well stocked Supermarket with a local bakery inside just below hotel where you can buy anything like toiletries, water, beer, fruits, chips,cup noodles, ice cream etc. 6. Most places in Baku accepts cash. So bring more cash and rely less on. credit cards 7. Friendly staff n speaks v good English 8. Friendly housekeeping will come if you call them. Hey, go green! Don't need to change bedsheet and towels everyday. 9. Nothing much to eat for dinner and lunch around hotel. But order online if you are lazy to go to the mall. I tried Dadim online. They accept cash and comes within 30 minutes. Good pasta, pizzas, risottos etc. 10. Safe hotel and little disturbances. They do not chase guests out if you stay slightly beyond check out time if you have later flight.
