  Friendly, clean, air-conditioned, and convenient to Venice and Padua

  We came across the Hotel Autostrada while searching for a place to stay near Venice while also being able to visit Padua. This hotel offered a good price for us, and, let me tell you, it's not cheap to travel with a family of 4 in Europe! We had rented a car in Munich after three non-airconditioned nights there followed by a pricey stay in sweltering Bolzano with no A/C. At the Hotel Autostrada the A/C was COLD and a big RELIEF...we slept great there! Since we had a car it was easy to get to Venice and Padua but, if you are without a car, it isn't centrally located. The hotel is run by Luca and his Mom who were very friendly. Luca was eager to provide us with some great tips on Venice and Padua. We very much enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it ! Even though they are competing against larger chain hotels in the area you should give them a chance!

  Great host, Luca, in lovely, well-located, good value hotel.

  I would definitely use Autostrada for other visits to Padua. It's small, but room was quite spacious and very clean. The proprietor, Luca, was really helpful and pleasant. Location is very convenient, just off autoroute at Padova Est. Although there is no restaurant in the hotel there is a very good pub 200 metres away which serves quite an extensive menu. Ample parking in grounds, and a bus stops outside which brings you into the historic centre.

  Good value for money

  We were looking for a hotel close to airport in Venezia for our last day. This hotel is perfect, close by the autovia and quite close to the city centre of Padova. That is more or less 3 I'm and approx. 15 euro by taxi. The hotel has a wonderful receptionist who managed to answer all my questions and quickly looked up online what I needed. The hotel has very nice rooms, very neat and clean Superb hotel which I highly recommend.

  Very good hotel in good price

  Rooms comfortable and very clean. Everything was ok - beds, beddings, towels, cosmetics in bathroom, air conditioning. Lack of kettle, but there was possibility of buy caffee at the reception. Staff nice and helpful. Near very good pizzeria Da Vanni, McDonald's and shopping cantre Giotto. Poor breakfast.
