  Great, but not if you use the internet

  We really liked Kirra Surf. Its further away from all the shops, but that is reflected in the price, and the pool is really great for the kids. The wifi are what let Kirra Surf down. The connection was great, but you get limited wifi, supplied through Gigafy, unless you pay more. We have four children and with no Foxtel or Netflix in the apartment, we logged in to our Netflix for them to watch a movie, whilst my husband did work on the internet and it drained three quarters of the internet allowance for our 8 night stay on the first evening. You have to phone Gigafy to pay for more and when I looked into this, Kirra Surf receive the money that you pay Gigafy (bar 3% that Gigafy keep) so its a money making scheme for Kirra Surf. We holiday on this stretch of coast a few times a year and its the first place weve stayed in which didnt have unlimited internet, so we didnt think to download some movies or programmes. I wouldnt recommend Kirra Surf, until they change the internet scheme they have and stop being greedy.

  Family visit

  We had a 3 bedroom apartment on the 9th floor which gave us wonderful views of the beach. Lovely pool The apartment is very spacious and well laid out.The kitchen was well equipped - except there were no kitchen knives and we had to supply our own. Two downsides, very noisy traffic owing to the position of the apartments and the beds were very poor quality, as was the lounge furniture. The rest was fine. Very good reception staff, so helpful and pleasant. Good security. Walk to the beach

  Weekend away with friends

  I have to say from the time I rang Kirra Surf to the time we left they were amazing so helpful.... I will go back for sure the apartments were really roomy and close enough to where we wanted to go... Recomend highly

  0 stars PLEASE AVOID DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE

  Do not stay here unless you want to be personally excluded because DONNA at the front desk will just decide she does not like you for no reason and the forget it is her job to be helpful not the complete opposite. My family booked the sub penthouse and we went for a beach walk and swim yesterday as the apartments are close to both, unfortunately we lost a set of the room keys which we did spend 3 hours looking for, we were very sorry and obviously we didn't plan on it happening. Then because of this incident DONNA made me feel like the worst person in the world even after the fact that I had no issue in paying $150 for the replacement. Then today as we had asked for a late check out which was hard as DONNA does not reply to emails correctly and only answers the questions she wants too. I was happy to pay the additional $50 for an extra hour to stay until 12. My mother went to let DONNA know we would be using the late check out and she bluntly refused us the moment she realised it was the room who had lost the keys and basically told my mother she didn't like us personally so we could not have the check out... the apartments were not booked out and she had previously said we could have the check out. She then told my mother she was getting the general manager to come and kick us out (when my mum told us we all thought she was joking) I then went and told DONNA exactly what I think of her... not much as she's a washed up, miserable old lady. Finally the male manager came (too kick us out hahaha) we were already leaving and not resisting at all. He was trying to understand the whole situation but it is all down to DONNA terrible customer service (she has the personality of a foot) you guys should really find a nice, happy, smiling new receptionist.. no wonder it wasn't booked out. I honestly am absolutely disgusted and appalled at the treatment of myself and my mother not good enough at all. There is no reason to be nasty and rude to people especially when it is your job lady you need jesus I tell ya. Don't stay here if you want to have a nice holiday. If you loose a key you will basically be stoned to death at this place its the 21st century get some fob keys guys and save us all the drama.

  Perfect girls weekend

  Back home from an absolutely amazing 2 night stay with friends. The apartment building is so fresh and clean and bright. Reception and management team are extremely helpful and friendly. We stayed in one of the three bedroom apartments, and wow, what an apartment! Clean, spacious, comfortable beds, and an extremely well stocked kitchen! The outdoor area is just incredible, and the pool was refreshing. Walking distance to everything. This was the perfect destination for a girls weekend, without children. We had a truly amazing time and didnt want to come home. Weve already booked for the same weekend next year!
