  great place

  The Inn at Pearl Street is a lovely place to stay close to the UT campus. The staff is exceptional. We were very comfortable there. The Inn has old Austin charm in that it is comprised of several historic homes. The variety of rooms gives you several choices of accommodation type.

  Fun stay

  This is such a quaint B&B! We stayed in the European room which had a huge bed. The associate was very nice and provided a lot of information about the inn. The only down side was the lack of ice from the small refrigerator in the common area.

  Attention Management!

  Location is good and setting is great, but oh Management you need to provide training and set standards for service. Too many missteps to mention but the best was being told there was no coffee or anything because the electricity was out. I informed the person on the ph6that in fact the electricity was not out as I was standing in the dining area and had turned the light on. I then set about making a pot of coffee. Thus was only one of the multiple instances when a voice on the phone was my point of service, or non service in most cases. The fellow who checked us in was great, too bad he only works a couple of times a week.

  This is where we stayed for New Years not the Hidden Pearl

  The Pearl is adorable! Not for children but great for couples. We would definitely stay here again. The bathroom was small but clean and cute. We enjoyed the balcony very much! This location made walking downtown easy.

  Lovely quaint hotel, friendly helpful service

  I must say the hotel was hard to find in the dark (I checked in late) but the staff on phone was SUPER helpful. The hotel itself is clean, looks practically like a museum with its many. antique pieces. The carpet in the French Room looks really old and can use some renovation, but everything was clean, linens were fresh, bathroom spotless. My top rating is because the stay was absolutely excellent. The bathroom was gorgeous, and Jessica was always on the phone trying her best to help. Having to travel a LOT for business, I can tell you they have the most helpful friendly staff compared to most places. I LOVED t he clawfoot bath, was a welcome place to get a soak after a long day. They provide bathrobes, which was a big plus. In a nutshell, it felt like I was staying in a small palace. Will come again.
