  No credit even though nothing worked.

  The staff was very friendly, but in the morning I had to wait for 45 min before the water pressure was high enough to take a shower. Unfortunately, when there was finally water, the water was not hot and I had to use a different room to be able to take a semi hot shower. Considering that these problems had delayed my departure more than 1 h, I asked for a credit, but this was something they did not offer.

  worst food in Ching Dao

  overpriced rooms, but the restaurant was horrible. when you pay 3 to 4 times the going rate, you expect something special. Lousy service, very small portions, flavorless. They had a couple of talentless guitar players, who were totally off key. playing way to loud, it was very irritating. We couldn't wait to to get out of there!

  Could be better!

  The negatives: 1. Took an awfully long time to check in. Staff didn't speak English and they wanted payment upfront. 2. There was no sign of the lovely water features in the gardens as was in their promotional photos as all the water had been drained. 3. Resort is beside a busy road so you can hear the traffic The positives: 1. Chalet was spacious and clean 2. Staff were polite Guests were all locals. Breakfast was ok. Gardens quite pleasant.

  Explore Chiang Rai & Chiang Mai

  Stayed 2 days here. Far & Quiet location but it's in the middle of Chiang Mai & Chiang Rai. Stay is quite similar to a chalet hut with average comfort level. Low water pressure but with free Wifi. Television programmes are all in Thai, thus, there's nothing much to do at the resort during the night. Breakfast was average

  Nice new resort

  This resort is along the main highway running past Chiang Dao. This looks like it is still being build but we werent disturbed by any building work. The resort is spread over a large area and if you have your own transport you can park right outside your room. The room itself looked brand new and still had protective cellophane on all the light switches. Because it is spaced out it is very quiet at night. The breakfast obviously caters for its mostly Thai visitors but you can toast bread over hot charcoal if you find Thai food difficult to stomach in a morning. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
