    Esta fue una estancia muy agradable la habitación estaba limpia y confortable la cama estaba estupenda el lobby y la comida muyy rica y el personal muy amable y cortez yo recomiendo este hotel seguro regreso

    This place is first ratee

    Loved this hotel. The staff is so pleasant and kind. The restaurant is nice, and the rooms are your basic Marriott rooms. Nice little gym. Parking is easy. I noticed that most guests weren't wearing masks, especially in the restaurant. But that's Augusta - it's the local culture.

    A respectable Marriott

    I took my vacation here in May 2020 when hotels open back up. This location is still offering housekeeping and I greatly appreciated it. They also still honored my points and offered me breakfast for my status. I know that many Marriott properties cancelled that and I find that ridiculous. The lobby of the hotel is pretty dated and feels very 1990s. Though it is very clean. The check in process was very nice and the lady working was quite friendly. I, however, was not offered any upgrade despite the hotel not even being close to Filled. The room was modern looking but it was a little rough around the edges. Someone had ripped off the smoke detector and there were wires sticking out. They evidently put it in the wardrobe and for my five night stay it stayed that way. I was thrilled with the bathroom with nicely updated but the shower needed a good scrub. Truthfully the whole place made it a good scrub. Im not a fan of the new toiletries that Marriotts is giving out. My room had a joining door to the next room and I could hear the person in there watching TV as if they were a deaf person. The restaurant attached to the hotel was absolutely delicious and it was great for breakfast and dinner. All in all I would say I would come back to this hotel.

    Marriott in Name Only

    I get it, things aren't as easy with COVID around; however, the Marriott shouldn't be run like a Holiday Inn, especially at their prices. My BLUF is that this is a Marriott, it ain't the cheapest option in town, so it should be reasonable for patrons to expect that it is able to get all the little things figured out... Shuttle Schedule from Airport: We came in on the last flight but I checked the Marriott website for shuttle schedule and we were supposed to be good with timing. No shuttle. I called Marriott's main number - "Oh! There should be a shuttle..." after a long hold wait... shuttles ended earlier and was blamed COVID? Ummm... OK, why? Luckily, there was a taxi SUV who stuck around because he likely knew we were screwed... hotel reimbursed the driver but we jerked around uneccessarily at a shut down airport for 30-45 minutes because Augusta Marriott did not update their website. Spotty Room Cleaning: The hotel pretty much blamed every issue on COVID - good luck getting your room cleaned. Even when we talked with the cleaning crew outside the room, the head of room cleaning, the front desk, it was a struggle the whole stay to get the room cleaned and towels dropped off even when all three said it would be done... it wasn't. It took multiple trips to the front desk to get things worked out due to breakdowns in communication internal to Marriott. Augustino's: A very good breakfast, no buffet - you can order from the menu. Dinners were the best we had in the Augusta area (better and less expensive than Frog Hollow). Pool: it's a sad little wading pool. Homeless: Not the hotel's fault but if you go walking along the river walk - there are homeless about - please be careful. Also, someone shed their clothes in the lobby bathroom - it was unpleasant. Parking on street: I would not recommend parking on the immediate streets (see above); however, there are other parking options that are less expensive than parking at the hotel and you walk a few blocks.

    Briana the great

    This young lady was professional and courteous, charming and exceptional. She enabled my wife and I to have an amazing new year celebration. Marriott is very fortunate to have her. Briana i wish you a happy new year. The hotel's staff was nice and the property was awesome.
