  Very good location

  A very basic and rustic guesthouse right in the middle of Mahebourg. All of the "downtown area" are within walking distance. The owner is a very nice and warm lady, who will hjelp you with all your needs! We really enjoyed our stay! Even though the rooms are basic and in need of some upgrading. It's clean and quiet, and has a small nice garden. Highly recommend this guesthouse if you're staying a couple of nights in Mahebourg!

  Lovely !!

  Absolutely lovely place, quiet, clean, the hosts are very friendly and helpful. They speak English very well. There is parking space, the place is very near to the airport. They offer also breakfast and the price is fair.

  Perfect!

  Very very nice! I'm female travelling alone and I was confused and little bit lost. Couple who owns the place took so good care of me. I would recommend this place to all who want to enjoy their staying safe and peaceful place. I hope I have time to come back soon.

  Mauritius, Mahebourg & Auberge Le Saladier

  I make no apologies for reviewing Auberge Le Saladier again. I stayed at the Auberge Le Saladier for 28 days on this trip to Mauritius, and I cannot thank Younoos n Gill enough for making my stay enjoyable, comfortable and all the helpful advice, suggestions , arrangements for car rental, taxi / bus services , excursions , places to eat , shopping and dealing with local red tapes/ issues. Younoos and Gill have upgraded the room facilities, upgraded bathroom facilities, fresh bed linen n towels breakfast with complementary fresh local fruits daily. Auberge le Saladier is centrally located for most of the local amenities in Mahebourg , within walking distance to local supermarkets/ shops, restaurants / local snacks facilities, banks, post office, pharmacies, bazaar/ market, churches, temples, mosque, museum, the waterfront is beautiful and an early morning walk is recommended , admire the scenery and the sunrise, the bus station etc. Blue Bay is a beautiful golden sand beach only about 20 minutes bus drive and other locations on the island are accessible by bus at very competitive price. Bus stops are within a few minutes walk from Auberge Saladier. The airport is only about 20 minutes drive. Mahebourg is a beautiful village with lots of character and people are friendly and helpful generally. Mauritius, Mahebourg & Auberge Le Saladier continues to make a big difference in my choices of a break and I have no hesitation in recommending to the travel community.
