A wonderful escapeA 5 star experience in a 3 star auberge. We stayed for 3 nights. Location is in a hamlet above La Malbai with a great view over the river and free parking. The house is run by Nicole and Piere in a quiet, respectful and caring way. It has a beautiful terraced garden to the front. The building is in excellent state, all looked after in a loving & tasteful way. The rooms - we had a small suite and looked into two others- are not the largest but astonishingly high quality and very tasteful with 5 star deluxe ensuite bathrooms I know from my business trips at top notch hotels. The queen bed was perfect for us, fairly new mattress and not too soft. Breakfast begins with warm Croissant and excellent home made jam and continues with your choice out of 3 (French toast, Omelette or Muesli & Yogurt). The living downstairs has sofas and plenty of games & books to pass the time if one wishes. You can also sit on the terrace although that could do with a little more light for cards in the evening. Suppose they'd give you a candle if need be. I ought to mention that it's a non smoking auberge, also on the terrace - we enjoyed that. Our stay was 2 weeks into our Kanada tour. We stayed at quite a few places since (also more expensive ones) - this was by far the best. We hope to find a few on the rest of our journey that come close, a match would be very lucky.

A most delightful stayMy husband and I spent four very comfortable pleasant nights at Auberge Fleurs de Lune. I have nothing but praise for our experience. We booked a larger room with a fireplace. It was lcomfortable and immaculate. Our balcony had lovely flower boxes. The breakfast room was quite pleasant and there were three breakfast choices, all quite delicious. I had an unexpectedly good time practicing my French with Nicolle. Google translate helped as well. Hope to return some day.

We just keep coming backWe found Auberge Fleurs de Lune by accident...upon leaving another B&B situated close by, and decided that the next time we were the area, we would give them a try. Great decision! Specifically... Location - is lovely. Wonderful old house with a wrap-around porch. Windows everywhere. Fabulous views of the St. Lawrence River. The grounds are really well kept, multi-leveled terraces with lots of vegetation and little seating areas here and there (swing and Adirondack chairs). The rooms are as you see them pictured on the website. Beautiful, warm an cozy. We've stayed two times thus far; once in The Primula room and the second in The Peonies room. We were not disappointed either time. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was served in the dining room but there is also an outdoor section (when temperatures and weather permits). You have the choice of breakfast menus along with fresh croissants and yummy home-made jams. You can also order eggs-your-way. Finally, there are the owners of the B&B. As I understand it, they've just taken over the inn (Spring/Summer 2018) and I have to tell you that they were GREAT. Customer service is A+. These are folks who obviously take pride in their establishment and strive to offer their guests the best experience possible. If you are looking for a place that offers peace and tranquillity where you can relax and unwind, this is the place for you. Note that they do offer packages and promotions...so look those up as well.

If I could give 10 stars I would! This place is a hidden gem. Nestled in a quiet hamlet in La Malbaie with a fabulous view of the river, the hosts were more than accommodating and the home itself was immaculate and decorated with care. We were promised a "King Room" through Booking.com and ended up with a corner suite, replete with our own balcony and view on the water! Bed was super comfy too. But the breakfasts.... you had three choices of meals plus the coffee was very very nice. We tried the "big breakfast" both days and were so full we didn't even eat lunch! The breakfast highlights include homemade cretons and a delicious mushroom and cheese omelet (with a local cheese, le Saint-Fidele), as well as fresh local fruit. What more can you ask for? If ever we return to this area, we will book this place in a heartbeat!

Great place, beautiful sceneryThe auberge is very nice. The scenery outside truly charming. The breakfast was good and tasty. Many ingredients were homemade. The owner was friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. Overall a very pleasant experience.
