  Una comida buena en un lugar agradable

  Fue una parada en la carretera muy buena, los dueños son encantadores y el lugar muy tranquilo con unas vistas preciosas. La comida es muy buena también, tanto la carne como el pescado, tienen platos tipicos de Corsega con verduras frescas, muy aconsejable.

  A Great Week with Family

  We rented 3 units with 14 of us in all. A great location and facilities were good with a pool, tennis courts, restaurant. Great ambiance during the suppers and breakfasts we had as a group. A little expensive compared to Marseille, however worth it. We had rented 3 cars as well to get around for visiting local areas. The roads are very narrow and very winding so you may need some gravol or other way to calm your stomachs. Very, very beautiful country.

  Never / Unbelievable experience

  Location: far away from civilzation / far away from any supermarket etc / far away from nature attractions After finally arriving at the auberge, first impression was not bad. Pool was nice. Restaurant also o.k., but during breakfast too much moskitos, was not possible to eat outside. Breakfast: too expensive. Rooms: too expensive! But: in total not in the best conditions, screws in the beds not fixed, tennis court looks like it was built 1940 without any refurbishment. Frustrating: there is a big dog at the auberge. He was running after our child (5 years), stopped not before our son was lying on the floor with bloody knees and I have taken care! From the owner was just a "sorry"! For us, the rest of the time was no pleasure due to this situation and my son could nit go the the sea any more. Be careful.

  What a great find!

  We stayed 4 nights at this gorgeous Auberge, and absolutely loved it. The setting is just wonderful. Stunning sea views from the pool, restaurant, bar, tennis court, half of the rooms. Gorgeous sunsets. The welcome was wonderful. All the staff go out of their way to ensure you have a fabulous time, and nothing is too much trouble. They ensure you feel relaxed and welcome. Delicious food. We booked directly through their website, and booked the Demi-pension option. This included a 3 course evening dinner each night. The chef is totally dedicated and very hard - working. Everything is beautifully cooked, and typically Corsican fare. Lovely pool and pool area. Great tennis court, although not up to Wimbledon standards, but good fun. You help yourself to racquets etc from the bar. Enough parking - when you arrive, drive up the slope with the restaurant building on your left, and the bedrooms on your right (its quite clear once youre there!), and you just park anywhere off the driveway where theres a suitable space. The best 2 spaces are directly to the side of the bedroom block. No phone network, but good internet in the lounge area at the entrance to the bedrooms. The D81b is a little challenging, and we made sure we always approached the Auberge from the south, coming the long way from Calvi on purpose. Its quicker and safer in my opinion. I thoroughly recommend this delightful Auberge.

  Peaceful and beautiful Auberge

  We had Room 1, with a beautiful sea view. The room had no telly, but this was not a disadvantage. Somehow the peacefulness of the setting filled our minds instead! Room was very clean and comfortable, and the porch/deck was wonderful to sit and relax. Fabrice was very helpful and friendly, and gave us lots of helpful tips, such as: 'you can't get lost going to Corde as there is only one road there'. True enough!! The pool was very refreshing after the long drive. WE were lucky enough to have all our meals on the terrace with the amazing sea view as shown in the photo. The food was delicious, as were the wines and local aperitifs. We learned a good bit about Corsican food and bev too. Fabrice told us about the hiking trails at the Valee du Fango and i highly recommend this day trip. The paths are well marked and there is a lovely pizza restaurant nearby. All in all, our stay here was one of the high points of our visit to Corsica.
