  Comfortable, friendly, great restaurant.

  ..recently refurbed, I guess, our room was reasonably spacious, neat and comfy and made a perfectly fine overnight stop. Our welcome was friendly and efficient. As is often the case with hotels like this in the "Logis de France" group, the restaurant was superb - lovely presentation, inventive dishes and reasonable pricing with a variety of fixed price menus from 14 to 25, which together with a decent ambience and a window table made for a very pleasant evening.

  Good restaurant & food; mediocre accommodation

  The high quality of the food and service at dinner and breakfast just didn't make up for the poor accomodation. Our pokey room with paper thin walls overlooking the car park had a bathroom seldom found these days - a shower that didn't work, plaster peeling off the wall, cracked basin with no plug. The rooms are accessed via a back door with a toilet area containing wash basin and hand dryer, and the restaurant is accessed from the same area via a grubby door.

  Lovely resturant for Sunday lunch

  There are two restuarants in this town and we opted to try this one first, wonderful manager , she could not have been more friendly or amusing. We had the basic menu 19 euros, and it was a delight, puddiing was divine. Very comfortable and stylish with excellent toilets. Expect to go back soon, for a more elaborate meal as the a ls carte menu is extensive. Off street car park, on the main high street coming in from either end

  Another Gem

  Was disappointed with the Route du Cidre but happily landed here. Recently refurbished with excellent food and Calvados. The owners are fun and interesting to talk to. Wifi works well and I slept like the dead.

  Great hospitality, good value

  Visited for lunch and was really pleased with the food & the service - lovely location also. We booked a week before for a party of eighteen. We had a private room with a small, safe garden area outside for the kids to play in. Food included a kids menu and was good quality, incl vegetarian option. English spoken & very friendly staff.
